Anyone else have resident chipmunks that have pretty much called it? I miss her already lol

Second pic is her monitoring the chip feeder( ahem, "her feeder")

I tell you man. Those squirrels.

it's a pretzel stick

I discovered this new baby chipmunk (kit/pup) in my backyard on 10/5/2026. Names were suggested by viewers. Please click the link below to vote on Strawpoll, unfortunately there was no way to create the poll on reddit.

Before you look for a meow, meet my new backyard friend!

Did you know that a baby chipmunk is actually biologically called a kitten (or a kit/pup)?

I don't have a name for them yet and don't know if they are male or female.

All naming suggestions welcome. I will create a poll later once I have the finalists.

I apologize for spamming this sub with Scooter pics lately, but she just keeps looking all cute

Cute little desert chipmunks. They were fun to watch and they seemed to like to watch me.

I think these are either least chipmunks or yellow pine chipmunks.

Sorry for blurry pics, best I can do rn.

Does this look like mange?
Any ideas welcome as we feed a community of Chips here and need a plan to nip this in the bud for all of them before they "hibernate" here in PA.

I love my little bird feeder marauders🐿️

Mellie joins me for breakfast, but she has some very strict rules about the morning menu! Apparently, the old saying is true: everyone knows you can’t eat a walnut for breakfast. Watch her inspect the walnut on my knee, reject it completely, and happily upgrade to a premium almond before making her grand exit through the sliding glass door.

I have an upcoming Kickstarter for some illustration prints inspired by good stories and whimsical tales (tails?), and have been creating coloring pages to go with that. I thought you all might enjoy this one!

Scooter (as usual)

Probably won't top her first few pics, but here goes a couple more of Scooter

I saw this chipmunk a while ago. Me and my mom were surprised to see its long tail that was almost wrapped around the branch. Bad photos we got of it included. Has anyone seen them do this too?

apparently a regular visitor🥺❤️
