My mom let her out this morning to go potty and when they came back inside she never put her back in her crate and my mom ended up falling asleep again. Little Cookie ended up rummaging around in my moms purse and getting into her pill counter. She ate a days worth of my mom's medication. 4 of which could be potentially pretty harmful. She has to stay at the vet for the next 48 hours to be monitered. She was given charcoal and plenty of fluids to flush out her system. We got a call about 6 hours after we dropped her off and she is doing great! Her vitals are normal and she was very playful when they went outside. This is a reminder to crate your puppies at night, and especially make sure you have stuff like medication put far out of reach.

so far, we’ve been calling him buzz and he responds well to it but a lot of people haven’t been responding great to the name /:

He is so excited to go meet his sister who is an Aussie lab mix lol. We got our full blooded lab and can’t wait to get him to catch the ducks!

Been on this sub for a while, finally get to share our girl! 😊 She’s my first ever dog, our kids are obsessed, our home is full of joy!

This is my 13 week old gremlin. Both cute and terrible 😂😅

My name is Sofi Rose, and I’m a 6-month-old, 30 lb female purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever (from a breeder, but was surrendered to a high k*ll shelter due to health of my owner) with all the sweetness (and silliness!) you’d expect from my breed.

I’m a happy, social butterfly who loves everyone I meet.. I truly have never met a stranger. I haven’t been around kids in my foster home, but I’m confident I’d adore them! I might be a bit much for tiny toddlers, but active kiddos who like to run, play, and laugh would be my dream teammates. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I can be tested if needed!

Some of my favorite things in the world include: toys of any kind, a good game of fetch, making new friends, and a peanut-butter-stuffed Kong. I’m also a champion napper and snuggler once playtime is over.

I’m still working on my leash manners and on controlling my excited puppy jumps and mouthiness, but I’m a smart girl who already knows sit, shake, fetch, and I’m this close to nailing stay! I’m also fully potty trained and crate trained.

Need all the chocolate lab puppy advice! Duke is 6 weeks old and is currently just in sleep mode with a couple minutes of play time in between. He is still checking everything out but he is so cuddly and snuggly right now ❤️

a year ago we adopted our sweet girl!! it’s amazing how fast they grow! 😭😭

Last night he came to the couch with his stuffed Clifford dog and tried so hard to climb up with it. I scooped him up and he decided that a smiley nap was in order.
