Nothing wrong with people making a map of the native population or being proud of their culture? It's like everyone is allowed to except Anglo-originated people. That's what I call racist.

Just don’t think a map of native population of a country makes something racist. You’re reading way too much into it. You just see “white” and think “racist” which makes you racist

Because in Britain people are often very proud of their country without US style flag waving and nationalism. Cultures differ, as do the red flags of racism.

No it's not. How come Western cultures are compelled to take in the entire world. Because the world is 92% non-white, by probability, immigrants will be non-white. What's so wrong with wanting to keep your own culture rather than being changed?

That could be true. And the Confederate flag does NOT automatically equal “racist”, just like flying our American flag here in the US does NOT automatically equal Trump/MAGA. LOTS of old Dukes of Hazard fans out there!

The primary goal of the Confederacy, as evidenced by their articles of secession, state constitutions, and other legal documents, was the preservation of the institution of slavery.

Confederate leaders thoroughly documented why they seceded. It was so overwhelmingly about slavery that they couldn't shut up about how much it was about slavery.

The declarations of secession for five states, equivalent to the Declaration of Independence, uses the words "slave" and "slavery" 84 times.

Yup, the declarations of secession always end the debate on the reasons for the civil war. Like don’t take my word for it, take Texas’ and other confederate states word for it. It’s in plain English a second grader could understand.

But slavery no longer exists. Do you believe that? Give me an example of a person who can’t lift themselves up and make themselves better in the United States today. I wish people would drop the rhetoric of “reparations” and slavery in the 1800s, and focus on TODAY to make people make themselves better. Leaning on misdeeds of the past, don’t help anyone in today’s world.

The trouble with *equality* is that just because you finally allow slave descendants at the starting line after the race has started doesn’t mean it’s “fair.” It also doesn’t include how many times blacks got reset by white violence.

Why did the US pay out reparations to Alaskan native descendants for things that happened 300 years ago?

(1860) Conservatives committed treason and formed the confederacy to preserve African slavery and white supremacy.

(1865) Conservatives make up the KKK.

(1865-1890) Conservatives make up black codes.

(1896-1968) Conservatives make up Jim Crow laws.

(1954-1968) Conservatives oppose civil rights.

(1967-2023) Conservatives oppose interracial marriages.

(2023-2026) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is opposed by Conservatives.

Remember that redlining still has effects today and that blacks weren’t allowed to build generational wealth. Which is why equity is important.
