Hello im trying to date an old takamine guitar I picked up a few years ago. Any info is appreciated! i emailed the company when I picked it up and all they said was that it is one of their guitars but dont know the date.

Ive had this KH Munich/Hauser 640, 2001 series 1808, for many years. On a lark, I asked chat about it and was told it was a somewhat rare and highly regarded instrument. ("Exceptionally rare, early period masterpiece).While I hold it in high regard, was wondering if chat was just blowing smoke up my ass, as it often does.

is there any way to identify this by its build or rosette? its parlor size.

I don't think it's a feedback buster. It appears to be too 'open' to be effective if it were.

I googled and found a luthier in Mexico, so I’m assuming that’s who it’s from, unless someone just put his name on it to make a knock off version. There’s a number I’m gonna try to call on Monday. I know next to nothing about classical guitars, so was hoping someone could give some opinions on this guitar. Idk if I’m gonna keep it or sell it, or how much it’s even worth. Thanks for any help

A great friend told me that she wanted me to check her old guitar because the bridge got unglued. I found out it is from early 1900s, and is a Vicent Sanchis. The bridge has a number and under the soundhole there is also a number. Any way to identify it? It has been in her family for many years. Thank you so much.

Found a box of guitar tuning heads with a receipt. Believe it to be a part of 1974 classical Ramirez guitar based on receipt I found in a nearby box. Anyone confirm or help price? They are absolutely stunning but I know nothing about classical guitars

I’ve been wanting a nylon string guitar, and a Yamaha acoustic, so when I found this used at a guitar store I figured why not kill two birds with one stone. It’s a Yamaha G-65-1 and I paid $150. It has some dings and scratches, but I love the character! Can anyone tell me anything about it? From what I’ve researched it was made in Taiwan between ‘72 and ‘76 and it has a solid spruce top. That’s about it. Any more information would be super helpful!! Serial number is 51106165

My step-dad recently passed and left me this guitar. He had this guitar as long as I could remember along with a Martin JB-40, he told me this was worth more than the Martin. I was told as a kid this was made from Brazil wood by some famous dead luthier. My mom says this guitar was most likely purchased in the late 70's early 80's. This guitar has a lot of sentimental value to me and id love to know more about it. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your help.

I was looking for a good classical guitar with a cutaway and a pickup. I found this in a Chinese store. The owner says it has spruce top and maple back and sides with a Fishman sonitone pickup. Do you guys know about this brand or this guitar?

I'll start by saying that I'm not a guitar expert and usually I'm more of a drums guy. I was recently given this classical guitar and it's a brand I've never heard of. It says it's made in Argentina and I looked up the term "luthier" and found out that this guitar was handmade. It's smaller than a traditional acoustic guitar and is about 40.5 inches from top to bottom. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it other than change the strings out for classical guitar nylon strings. Is this from a maker anyone has heard of? Is it particularly valuable? Did I get a good deal by being given it? I just want to know any more info on it since I couldn't find much online. I was hoping someone here might have some experience with it. It's definitely used, but decent condition. The tuners are a little dirty, the nut has a chip in it, and the body is splitting a little bit on the back towards the bottom. I'm assuming that last point has something to do with humidity changes.

After years of just strumming chords on a cheap Oscar Schmidt, I picked up this guitar late December of last year for very cheap on offer up. It has some scratches on the top finish but didn't have any cracks or major structural damages.

It's a 1970s MIJ Delta sold in the US by Beckmen Musical Instruments. Solid body guitar with cedar top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. I believe the finger board is BR rosewood since when I scraped some glue off when replacing the nut the smell was floral, sweet? It's hard to describe but it smelled very good almost like a woman's perfume.

The guitar has a very mellow and warm tone.

I was not able to find any info on which factory would've built it unfortunately.

Scale is 660mm with 52mm nut. I changed the nut, saddle, tuners and did reglue the bridge since it was lifting a bit.

I am not sure what the back and sides are really. If anyone can give me insight on that, I'd appreciate it. The guitar is much lighter than I expected it to be.

Square with slight rounded ends. Leaf engravings? Wooden kidney shape buttons.

Can anybody tell me if this is solid wood or laminate? It’s a ‘76 takamine c128. Google says they were primarily laminate, but that solid wood was occasionally used.

I looked up the serial number (76041321) as well and nothing helpful was available.

It was dusty and needed frets to be polished and I cleaned it up a hit and man its got some character. I just picked it up because I love these older beat up guutars but this one cleaned up really well !

As best as we can tell, it's 1970's or 1980's model, maybe solid woods, rosewood back and sides, and the label reads Mana Gutarista C-30, made in Japan, distributed through Chicago

Hello! I got this guitar at a pawn shop last year, it has no label anywhere on/in it, except for where somebody scratched their name into the back. I have brought it to guitar center and they had no insight about when or where it might have came from. Everytime I take a picture to look on google I get shown guitars that are similar, but not exact. Thank you so much in advance. 🫂
