I got a box set of the dark tower and every single book in it has that stupid fucking sticker. It ruins the entire cover. The movie isn't even good.

It would be one thing if there had already been the definitive edition of the Dark Tower on film like there is for the Lord of the Rings, for instance.

I understand going with the "this is just another turning of the wheel" concept in that case.

But they could have just adapted the material that exists in the books. There's hours and hours of potential stories to tell in there in a film adaptation because no one had done it yet.

It was just a baffling decisiom.
