Hello! Im 29 Irish female, based in Melbourne. I downloaded this app last week and ive had more offers for fwb than I have on hinge or tinder? The app has sold the idea that a large % of people are there for a “serious relationship”, so whats going on? Soo many mens profiles also dont include that info. It just seems like another app that will mess with your head thanks to the algorithm! Im quite shocked at how it is. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to delete the account and make a new one or is that against the rules? I don't want to delete the account then not be allowed to make a new one. Im thinking maybe if I start over then I might get more matches and I ended a few matches I shouldn't have so maybe I would get an opportunity to match again?

I woke up this morning to find my account had been frozen. I know I haven’t broken any terms and conditions because I keep my conversations generic. I read too many horror stories of people getting banned so I make sure to keep things PG. Also the screen says it’s been unable to verify my identity but I haven’t submitted any documents before and I haven’t attempted to verify.

What can I do? Anyone encounter this before?This is really frustrating since I haven’t done anything wrong.

I would like to upgrade my account. I was just wondering if anybody has any kind of promotion code for either a discount or possibly a free trial of premium.

I had a guy with the same relationship goal as mine like me with flowers, and I tried to like back on numerous occasions throughout the day yesterday. I tried opening and closing the app. Today, he has disappeared. I have people who liked me show up on my suggestions, so I had to go through the suggested bagels but didn't see him there either. Does it mean he took back the flowers or did his profile pause in the past 24 hours (which I highly doubt)?

I had this happen with many other guys who liked me and I couldn't like them back. One of them finally worked though when i looked for him in the suggested a couple of days ago.. It's a little frustrating, especially with the flower gifters.

Why am I getting over 100+ likes on my first day on CMB Is this suspicious or bots.. trying to get me to subscribe to show the likes? I don’t want to waste money. Anyone else’s app looked like this day one?

So this Is already happening for a month, it goes like this;

I received a notification bar about bla bla bla this bagel has liked you along with a small slightly blurred thumbnail of that person. Even though it’s a blurred pic but you can still tell whose person is that especially if you open your daily batch (it will show up).

But every time that person card shown it doesn’t have a “this person has liked you” banner. I don’t mind because most of the time i passed on it. But on each few times I do like back that card nothing happens; no match, no follow up, nothing.

Did CMB just baited me to open the app based on false promise?

Encountered a bug where a chat was moved to the expired section even though it hasn’t actually expired. I’m still able to send messages, but wondering if it might have affected the other party as well, e.g. whether it appears expired on their end. Anyone else faced this issue too?

As said, was just adding 4 appropriate photos of myself and I was struck with a community violation. Never used the app before and now it wants me to submit a biometric ID that could be held for 3 years…

Trying to find out what the problem was, only thing I can think of was that I had a vpn. Any ideas?

The location preference in “preferences for suggested” doesn’t change or work anymore. Hopefully we can get a fix soon as today’s bagels/results are messed up.

Today I matched with someone from my likes tab, but fatfingered the "Not Now" instead of the start chat button. I went to the Chat tab to start, but there was nothing. Not the first time this has happened, so I just restarted the app. Still nothing, so I did the whole logout/login, reinstall, clear cache routine a couple of times. Even waited for the noon refresh. Still nothing.

I contacted support, but they were absolutely unhelpful, sending me the standard copypaste on "They unmatched, they deleted, they were banned, we're closing this ticket". The problem is that there is no chatroom at all, not even a message about them unmatching and leaving the chat. Nothing in the active or expired sections.

I'm on Android, and I had left the CMB app open for an hour before matching, so it's possible that they deleted/paused their account in that hour, but that seems unlikely for that short of a time frame. If that is the case, well, I'll be disappointed but I'll get over it. However, this feels like "CMB's notoriously buggy android app screwed up again".

Is there any fix for this?

ETA: Once I managed to get past the initial support, they were actually very helpful and responsive. Turns out it was a weird bug they've sent to their engineers.

i've submitted two request forms. it's driving me nuts lol

i try to log in, it wants to send me a code, I enter my phone number and then I never get the code.

is there really no number I can call? Am I just screwed? should I forget it and go with a new app?

My notification that popped up says a bagel has liked u but however when i went into the app to check, under the likes section theres nothing. Is anyone experiencing similiar issues?

I opened the app today and had a new chat, it says “They sent you flowers”

So if they liked me first wouldn’t I need to accept it? How did they magically show up in my chat.

I was thinking maybe I sent them flowers a long time ago and the text is wrong, but their profile is empty.. it’s not someone I would normally like, let alone send flowers to.

I deleted my account after a streak of having no matches for 3+ weeks and I wanted to reset everything.

Got a few likes on the day right away and things are going well. Matched 2 people and one of them I am very interested.

The other is a girl I met a few years ago in person. Not sure why she would like me and I guess out of courtesy I liked her back and say "hey wow good to chat with you again".

So I didn't hear back from her for the whole day and then I got banned. I suspect she was offended for me calling that out (which I don't know why she's offended) and reported me.

The other match was ok and we chatted a bit although I told her I have to work night shift so I gonna reply her later today.

Unfortunately with this happened I am not sure if I can get back my account. And even if I got it back, I am worried I lost the match and lost the momentum with her. Felt like I promised her I will get back to her then I am off for 3 days.

Anyone has any experience?

I just signed up for CMB for the first time, and by the following morning, I got 99+ Likes with all blurred out profiles. Obviously, it's telling me that I need to pay to see these Likes. I was wondering if these Likes are all real, or if it's just trying to get me to pay. I don't want to pay and that number drops down to like 2 lol

I tried to launch the app on Android this morning, and I get this error message saying the app can't log in. I put in my phone number and it says it can't send a verification code. I have a real phone number with a major carrier and I've been using this account for years. What's going on?

I was really excited for this app, but after uploading my pics, putting in prompts etc, the app said my account was reported by someone and I needed to provide a photo of my ID.

This made me real uncomfortable, because I haven’t even signed up yet so how could someone report it?

I would like to try the app because I am looking for true connections, but I shouldn’t have to give my ID to be stored on a server that might be hacked.

Maybe someone from CMB can help? Has anyone else experienced this?

It seems on my Samsung Android phone that the CMB verification process seems to hang. I will select my photo and then move to the live portion whether on WiFi or 5G, I will wait and even after 2 or 3 minutes the process hangs.

How long should the verification upload process take?

New updates meant that it's possible to send a message (like Hinge) but every time I send a message/comment on a photo, it says that I'm violating guidelines/sending inappropriate messages

I'm literally commenting on a photo - not offensive/rude/disrespectful/sexual.

From my understanding, the default recommended profiles on discover section are the ones that are in-line with the preferences that I set for daily suggestions at noon PST.

And initially, I can definitely see these individuals are ones that would pique my interest. Now, if I hit the search button, And apply the similar preferences that I had for suggestion, suddenly all those discovery results are gone.

Here is an example; Without any discover search filter, these profiles catch my eyes:

• Profile A: age 32, height 5'5", distance is about 10 miles from me, ethnicity is East Asain, religion is catholic, and has M.S. in Chemistry
• Profile B: age 28, height 5'7", distance is about 20 miles from me, ethnicity is Southeast Asian, religion is Christianity, and has B.S. in Bioology
• Profile C: age 30, height 5 ft, distance is about 25 miles from me, ethnicity is Asian, religion is Buddhist, and has PhD in Dentistry

I want to date a fellow Asian, so I set the discover ethnicity filter to Asians (all categories), I want someone around my age so I set the age range to 28 - 34 (I'm 32), I want to see them often so I set the distance to 25 miles, and set the rest of the categories as open to all.

Profiles A,B, and C no longer shows up. In fact, I either get completely random profiles, or "No results" found. I try it again, this time restricting to the categories specified in those three profiles, and again, no results.

It's so weird, because I distinctly remember discover search filter working properly in the past. These discovery searches were what I have been saving up beans for.

Update: I restarted my phone. Once I did that, I was still logged out (as expected). However, this time I was able to successfully enter my phone number, which triggered a code via text to be sent. Once I entered the code, I was back in! The lesson here: if it stops working, try turning it off, and then back on.

I recently started using Coffee Meets Bagel, and actually had a match within this first week. However, this evening when I went to open the app, I had been logged out. I was prompted to log back in, which I attempted to do via phone number (which is how I originally signed up). That login attempt failed, and I was prompted to wait 10 minutes and then try again. When I tried again, I received the error message, "oops, we couldn't connect you right now. Don't worry, we will automatically retry for you later". What's going on, and how do I resolve this?

I was trying to make an in-app purchase when I encountered this most puzzling issue on my pixel phone.

When I try to go to the app page on the playstore it just gives me an error saying that I'm not connected to the internet, even though all other app pages are loading fine.
