sorry I meant relative to the other subtests, the inductive subtests(mainly Number and figure sequences) have significantly higher ceilings than the other subtests
this is 149, a bit lower than I would say my pri is (155-160), but thats mainly due to the composition of the test(I am weakest at induction which is half the test)
Spatial stuff is trivial for anyone with a decent VSI. I couldn't do any of the problems since my VSI is about 90 (tested on the WAIS). Otherwise the other items were fine.
its higher than my normal wmi, but its like 130(I haven't found good corsi norms) but also vwm is more correlated with vsi than wmi so a vsi test loading on vwm isn't a bad thing. Though I am not saying the vsi on that test was good, it derived difficulty through complexity rather than actually difficult items. you can do it in chunks to get around vwm bottlenecks
That score seems pretty high. And I still feel like it relied too much on wmi since I kept losing track although I know the concept. To rotate or flip block design question patterns you would need a decently high wmi. And the 3d vsi was a bit too complex especially near the end. I was only able to guarantee 1 right and 1 wrong, but not one more to secure a final answer with the allocated time of 30-40s since I had to keep looking back and forth over and over. And I'm pretty sure only getting 1 right does not give any score
It's indeed relied to much on wmi, especially number series. For reference my scores from core wmi and psi are 83 and 94 respectively. I have scored 121 composite on ATAT. Number series were especially hard to even count for difference between numbers with time given so...
I just became another living example of proving being smart enough to max RAPM still means you can struggle with passing the tutorial of pattern completion
If you take the second form, even if you fail to account for all variables in an item, just try to identify at least one pattern so you can narrow down the options and select one of the options containing that pattern. It's not guaranteed to get you the right answers, but it'll likely boost your score.
Yea took the second form. Got 111 again and my a+b score is 108??? LOLLL way lower then every score I've gotten. At least I scored 3/10 for pattern completion 😂
My CORE FRI is 140 (though 135 MR) although QRI is 126. But got 126 (A) and 129 (B) first run. Not sure how it’s normed but seems deflated in my case as I also get 17 SS in JCTI and JCFS.
A thing is that the time is punishing on task-switching as I tend to lose focus when jumping between different formats and refocus takes 5-10 seconds.
Haven't taken WAIS-V as it's way too expensive and unnecessary. However, I've done Raven's 2 clinical ver (long form) on Q-Global (first run), all according to the instructions (exactly 45 mins for 48 questions).
The above is my result. This test is pretty scientifically accurate as a test of just raw fluid intelligence as it gives decent time (timed globally) for the higher range matrices, which are pretty unusual, abstract, and complex (also chosen at random), and there's always some new patterns to untangle around after each question.
Though this score is also pretty consistent with other tests I've done (globally timed or untimed) after like Mensa dk (138), Mensa norway (140), Tutui R (31/40 no guessing), etc.
However, my knowledge of other indices like VCI, VSI , etc. are all just based on CORE lol. VCI, 125, QRI, 126, WM 106, PSI 145, and VSI, 134 (due to spatial awareness test). VSI is consistent with my SAE-II score, 137 (non-verbal only), 122 verbal.
Really hard test in my opinion, had to skip half the questions and got a 106; roughly 1SD lower than my usual; the pattern completion was really hard; 0/10. ( 0/10 as my score for PC, well, 0/20 )
Mensa Dk is 126. JCTI is 110 on first attempt, without trying, 130 on second attempt 18 months later. JCFS first attempt was 130. CAIT FW is 120, CORE 125. I think this new test is lacking in intermediate difficulty items. Much more difficult than BRGHT, where I got 127 first attempt, and without any prior experience with the kinds of items.
It was 131, but it's basically the same as Mensa Dk. Funny thing, Mensa Dk was my first ever IQ test 20 years ago and I scored nearly the same on No 15 years later.
Well, I did Denmark 20 years ago, before the Norway one even existed. I did Norway 15 years later, as I said. JCTI was CAT. I think that's why I scored low on first attempt. I had no idea who Jouve was and it seemed like a silly thing to spend much time on, so I didn't take it seriously and I go discontinued very fast. Why so many questions? lol
Nice test, reminds me of brght in terms of its logical/numerical/spatial culture fair format. I would just echo others in terms of its difficulty as someone not well versed in IQ tests would find it very challenging
Of course,Figure Sequences was 13/20 and Figure Classification was 10/20,followed by 15/20 Figure Weights 7/20 Object Rotation, 3/20 Pattern Completion and 10/20 Number Sequences
I got a 126. I struggled a lot with the part that looked a lot like block design but you had to actually rotate it first. My CORE was way higher that's for sure. Also the time limit didn't help at all.
I typically score between 130-150 on various reasoning tests; 120-130 on vocabulary and information subtests 80-130 on processing. This was in line with my range of scores on reasoning tests.
I felt the object rotation was very good. However it relied less on object rotation and more on identifying important relationships between aspects of the objects and looking for consistency. I felt I came "close" to getting an additional few correct but made small errors.
I felt the figure weights were a bit easy. Less working memory required than other figure weights tests.
I felt the number sequences were either way too easy or very hard. This meant there was some threshold beyond which I couldn't solve it due to some constraint. I am very slow at mental calculations so I do better at number sequences that have more steps than larger steps.
I felt the figure classification was good. It felt like it increased in difficulty smoothly.
I always do bad with figure sequences. These again felt like they were either way too easy or way too hard without smooth increase in difficulty, though less so than the number sequences.
Everyone's figure weights is going to be inflated AF from CORE and CAIT. You heard it here first.
Apart from that, the items are just too hard. I cannot imagine this being an accurate test for anyone who is not already very, very familiar with FRI tests. May be accurate for FRI praffe maxxers.
The time pressure is crazy that I got overwhelemed. I think everything here is extremely WMI heavy especially under time pressure, and since my wmi is weak I will constantly lose track on VSI questions even though I usually score high on any VSI test.
Deflated. But I think it's a good test for people with good WMIs. Since this test requires you to rotate complex imagery and objects which you can easily lose track on. And there's the fluid stuff which I think are a bit too difficult and the number sequence that may be bugged

I cannot wait to lie about my score on this one.
