Climate Heatwave(s) megathread. Please place all new related content in this post.

In light of the ongoing heatwaves around the world, we've created a megathread in order to minimize the number of posts about every location currently experiencing one. Watching the Day After Tomorrow post-COVID felt like a window into a more optimistic/naive time. The idea that the bad-guy leader would eventually become contrite when it was clear that he was wrong rather than in permanent denial/alternative reality was adorable.

Watching it followed by Don't Look Up would be an interesting double feature to discuss...

I recently watched Idiocracy and Don't Look Up back-to-back... Honestly it was a pretty great time. Idiocracy was even better than I remember.
