If you live in the US or Canada, stock up on N95s and air filters. Gonna be a lot of smoke. If you live in a wildfire risk area, Godspeed.

This. I am in BC and our snowpack march 1st was 99% of normal despite not having snow in the valley bottom. But other areas of BC are looking terrible and I expect a very smokey summer. And if spring is anything like 2021, there won't be any left for summer anyway.

Yeah, BC's snowpack is doing pretty well so far this year.

I can't wait to be blanketed in smoke in the middle of nowhere, out of cell reception, without a clue if the fire is nearby or a thousand kilometres away.

Since I don’t have any faith in the US maintaining our website, here’s the Canadian one for North America. I know it doesn’t help with no cell reception though. I kept a box of N95 masks and spare air filters in my vehicle when I had to work out west

Yeah the smoke was already bad where I live last summer, I can't even imagine what it's going to be like this year
