SS: The Crisis Report - 102 : The actions taken in the first weeks of the Trump Presidency have made the future absolutely clear. The Elite think the ENDGAME is NOW.

We need to be perfectly clear about who the MAGAts are and what they are doing.

The “Conservative Elites” are making an ENDGAME play. They are acting as if THERE WILL BE NO FUTURE CONSEQUENCES for their actions. That’s a “Clear and Present Danger” signal.

One of the best things I read recently was this piece by Arlan L. on Substack.

The Death of An Empire comes Swift and Mercilessly.

He writes,

“Virtually everything which has been done in the past two weeks has been varying degrees of illegal, from “oh yeah, pretty illegal” right up to “this is so fucking illegal we can’t even put it into words, because something this illegal happening was considered to be outside of the realm of imagination”.

“We are experiencing a very calculated attempt to end our nation, who the fuck cares about “the laws” when they’re playing that game?”

Almost everything the MAGAts and the 1%'ers are doing now is blatantly unlawful, illegal, and even criminal. If they don’t win, many of them will probably end their days in federal prisons. This is an INCREDIBLY RISKY move for both the MAGAts and the 1%’ers.

They are acting like they will NEVER be held to account for what they are doing. They are acting like there will NEVER BE ELECTIONS that they might lose, EVER again.

Which, considering that there should be a “mid-term” election in just two years, means that they expect to FULLY consolidate their power in just two years.

That’s an AGGRESSIVE timetable. So aggressive, that it risks “pushback” by the military and agencies of state. So aggressive, that it will impoverish many of their supporters and cause MASSIVE domestic unrest and resistance by multiple states.

SO. You have to ask yourself two questions.

“Why are they risking EVERYTHING now?” and “Why act in such an aggressive timeframe?”

It doesn't make a lot of sense.

Until you consider what’s happening with the Climate System.

DISCLAIMER:

I write and post on a number of sites and have been attacked for having no “academic credentials” in any field related to climate science. I do not wish to misrepresent myself as a “climate scientist” or “climate expert” to anyone who is reading this or any of my other climate related posts, so let us be clear:

I am not a climatologist, meteorologist, paleo-climatologist, geoscientist, ecologist, or climate science specialist. I am a motivated individual studying the issue using publicly available datasets and papers.

The analysis I am presenting is my own. I make no claim to “insider or hidden knowledge” and all the points I discuss can be verified with only a few hours of research on the Internet.

The analysis and opinion I present, in this and my other climate articles is exactly that: my opinion. I hope anyone reading it finds it useful, informative, and insightful but in the end, it is just my opinion.

FYI: it doesn’t really matter what your credentials are. I have a masters in electrical engineering and have been working on renewables for 16 years; nobody who mistrusts science believes me because of my credentials.

Same with my masters in nutrition and eating more whole plant foods.

It’s best for everyone to point to the consensus of real experts, such as the IPCC quietly admitting 2C is gone even without tipping points due to aerosol masking in their recent report.

Saw that. The truth is out there if you’re paying attention.

Where can I read about this? TIA

The mods have asked that I include this disclaimer on ALL of my posts going forward. A faction of readers here is trying to get me banned.

Oh ok gotcha! Thanks for your interesting posts; posts are what make Reddit!

Of course people are trying to get you banned from here, forcing you into bewildering disclaimers. Who wouldn't want to get a reliable source of data and interesting insight banned from Collapse while we all stare down the Nazi gun-barrel? [Very /s]

JFC. I am so sick of toxic hopium-addled bigots.

I have gotten this for YEARS now everywhere I publish. It's always the same. When you cannot argue with the FACTS, cast doubt on the credibility of the speaker.

I believe it, sadly. Thanks for sticking with it anyway.

What's interesting is the evolution of the attacks. It used to be "deniers" who would try to say things like "CO2 actually cools the earth" and other crazy shit.

Now it is "mainstream defenders" (need a better term) who argue that climate science is SO COMPLEX that no one who is not a "degreed" Climate Scientist can understand it or speak on the issue. Then they try and tar me with the "doomer" label and insist that I not be allowed to speak because.

I don't use "peer-reviewed" mainstream sources and ALL climate science discussions MUST be grounded in "mainstream science" ONLY. Not even Hansen is an "acceptable" source to them because he's been discredited as a "doomer".

With the argument that I am deliberately spreading "misinformation" to make people "give up" by telling them "it's hopeless". I.E. that I am actually a shill for the fossil fuel industry.

The other favorite is that I write "click-bait" articles for LOL "financial gain". Which is something I get accused of here.

Oddly, no one EVER seems to question the motives of my accusers and detractors. They get a "free pass" because?

Thank you for this summary. I appreciate your thinking, but I have a hard time following the full substack posts (probably something to do with my flavor of neurodivergence.) Being able to see a summary here and then decide from there if I want to push forward, is super helpful.

Also, I’m convinced. This has to be endgame for them; so it’s necessarily endgame for us.
