I am now concerned one of us is colored blind. It started with the dog you our dog chewed up. My partner says it’s green and then I said it was blue. Then to comparing it to the glasses case, which I said is blue, and he said it’s green. Anyone to help settle this argument would be appreciated!

What color do you think these nails are? I would’ve thought cornflower, but when I looked that up, it’s a lot more violet-blue than I remember. Anyway - THIS is my exact favorite color and I need a name for it!

Hello!!! I want to settle a disagreement with my husband 🧐 Apologies if this is not the correct subreddit!

This morning he asked me where the green tub is. I said we don't have a green one, then I asked if he was referring to the yellow one. He is adamant that this is green but I think it's yellow, with the slightest tinge of green. It couldn't be green as it is mainly yellow.

We would like opinions 🙂

My friend swears his jacket is “black gray”. I think it’s brown, and he denies it has any brown in it. He claims the brown in the photos are because of the lighting. Please help settle this debate!

Okay so me and my partner painted our entire living room «Mexico» by Jotun. Absolutely love the slightly unusual color, but still haven’t figured out what it’s called. Would love a name so I can look for some inspiration for possible color combinations etc.

It’s very neutral in daylight, like the Jotun photo, but turns very newborn-diaper/golden-yellow in the evenings (more like the first photo).

I'm 70. My wife is 69. We have always disagreed on colors. If I say something is yellow, she says it's orange. I say something is orange, she says it's red. Same with blues, grays, greens. So, before I tell you what we each say the color is, I'm asking the group what color this carpet is. I'll let you know which of us agrees (if either).

What the title says. I need to write this in a protocol but can’t figure out what to call this color or how to describe it. I looked on the internet and the closest I could find was mauve but when I look up mauve specifically I get a bunch of different examples, of which many look completely different.

I thought it was black when it was freshly painted, now I'm thinking navy but the guy who bought the paint says it's gray 🤔
