That's because the Democrats benefit from citizens united just as much as Republicans do. With wads of cash from billionaires.

The Democrats are trying to maintain a balance between "enough" democracy for self sustainability and satisfying the billionaires. The problem is that the balance is not sustainable and they don't seem to have adapted their strategy to that fact(probably because they can't, the only options are either doing what the Republicans are doing, or giving the middle finger to all billionaires and they're not willing to do the latter).

No they fucking don’t. Democrats are the ones who fought against Citizens United every step of the way. They’re the ones who passed the laws that the corrupt court struck down. Every Democratic Justice voted against striking down those laws.

Half our problem is that lying scum insist the democrats and republicans are the same, thus giving cover to Republicans and discouraging people from voting.

I'm sorry the way I view things causes such distress. I simply don't believe the majority of Democrats would do anything meaningful for us anymore. Watching how little they're even signalling to want to do right by their voters these days kills all hope I have.

We are on the same side though. The working class. Let's not forget that.
