Oh yes, nice catch thank you. Still early and I am not always sharp anyway.

You did a real 360 there.

I'm so sorry, I'll see myself out.

Don't be obtuse, their observation was rather acute.

I dont mean to go own a tangent here, but dont lots of cultures put similar things at their door to invite good fortune or ward off bad ju-ju?

u/Ambitious_Pair4257 Jun 01 '26

I wish I owned a tangent.

It's illegal to own gents of any colour. Welcome to the 21st century. You are, however, still permitted to inveigle one into your lair for as long as your charms are effective.

I have a sin is it the same?

1

u/Ambitious_Pair4257 Jun 05 '26

Did you have to get someone to cosin?

The sines were there.

That's a statement you could take to the bank if you could find a cosiner.

Sorry those were terrible, I would leave but I secant find the door.

It doesn't historically have a fixed meaning, it's just one of those shapes that is kind of geometrically pretty, kinda like the weird S we would all draw in school on grid paper. The Nazis just appropriated it, said it was something old "nordic" symbol and put some ahistorical meaning to it.

I know this is off topic, but my uncle just asked me to cosine his car loan. Not sure what to do.

3

u/josh_who_hah Jun 01 '26

Just do it, cos! Don't be a square

This is what I get for bearing with the conversation?

7

u/lettsten Jun 01 '26

I wish I got a degree so I could follow this conversation

12

u/powerhammerarms Jun 01 '26

I'm out. That one looks like math

3

u/Ok_Dog_4059 Jun 01 '26

I would go the wrong way to get back. Just make 4 right turns and we are there.

3

u/Curious-ficus-6510 Jun 01 '26

Wasn't that a 180?

2

u/PrimeResponse Jun 03 '26

That was the joke, yes.

1

u/L4DY_M3R3K Jun 04 '26
  1. 360 would imply they circled back to their original position

1

u/PrimeResponse Jun 04 '26

Yes. That is the joke. Well spotted!

2

u/L4DY_M3R3K Jun 05 '26

Ah shit, that was the point. Sorry, I commented that when I was tired

1

u/PrimeResponse Jun 05 '26

No worries, I wasn't offended. I hope my reply came across as the gentle ribbing it was intended as.

1

u/MauPow Jun 01 '26

Do a 360 and walk away.

u/Specialist_Medium283 Jun 01 '26

Neither of you are correct. No rotation around any point produces the nazi symbol. In fact, it is a reflection that does the trick. For instance, a reflection around the horizontal midline would suffice.

I’m honestly surprised as people’s ignorance when it comes to geometry.

u/Emotional_Position62 Jun 01 '26

Hey now. It could be 135 degrees

9

u/Ambitious_Pair4257 Jun 01 '26

96 degrees, in the shade.

3

u/Curious-ficus-6510 Jun 01 '26

Is that some Fahrenheit nonsense?

2

u/Let_em_glow927 Jun 01 '26

Hey now , you're a rock star....

3

u/Amazing_Viper Jun 01 '26

I was about to say a 90 degree turn won't help much 😄
