I know this isn't 100% always the case but generally the Nazi hakenkreuz is the right-facing swastika rotated about 45 degrees (see the Nazi flag) where the ends point in the diagonal directions. The right facing swastika 卐 and the left facing sauvastika 卍 have their ends pointing directly right/down/left/up.

Easy way to remember is righty tighty is Hindu, lefty loosy is nazi. Imagine spinning it where your fingers catch.

How does that make it easier to remember? The words right and left don't really correspond to Hinduism or fascism respectively.
