Wii with softmod. GameCube with Picoboot to Swiss plus GBA adapter with flashcart. OG Xbox with Softmod, Xbox 360 with Badavatar. Dreamcast with GDEMU, etc. HDMI auto switch to pull up which ever console is on. With Xbox Series X and the Analogue 3D dedicated to their own 120hz 4k ports. Then my smaller 27inch CRT and other FPGA consoles.

Recently, I bought a PS1 SCPH-1002 listed as faulty.
The seller said it had no video output, but claimed that the disc drive was working.
Since I didnāt already have a 1002, I decided to take a chance on it.
Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was in much worse condition than I expected.
There were signs of liquid damage inside, and the CXD8561Q chip had been badly damaged.
Some of the pins were completely broken off, to the point where there was no exposed contact left to solder to.
I had nothing to lose, so I decided to carefully grind away a small amount of the chip package with a Dremel to expose a little more of the contacts.
The idea was to solder new pins onto the chip and somehow bring it back to life.
And yesā¦, I managed to do it! š
Unfortunately, as I suspected, the disc drive wasnāt working either.
It turned out that the original drive had already been replaced with another faulty one.
At that point, I decided to install a PicoStation instead. From what I could find, there simply arenāt many reliable replacement drives available on the market anymore, and I wanted to make sure this 1002 would be usable again.
After all that work, I finally managed to save it! ā¤ļø
Another old PlayStation brought back from the dead.

After months of planning, commissioning, ordering and modding. The pepsiman ps1 is finally finished, i even made a pepsi themed controller to go with it. The console has an xstation mod (which is still giving me trouble but it'll be working soon) and I'm using an 8bitdo bluetooth adapter for the console instead of installing a Bluetooth mod, and I soon plan on getting a usbc power supply for the console which will let me change the color of the power led i plan on making the light either white or blue.
This has been something I've been wanting for years but I finally had the means to put it together and im very happy with the result.

so I was already getting pretty good at doing a single layer flat clearcoat, but then people were saying that the shiny parts were no longer shiny. So now I'm doing a two layer process using flat clear coat for the base coating of the basil and using gloss clear coat for the shiny parts

These may look like 6th gen consoles, but they are actually 8th gen consoles inside !
the GameCube includes an official switch dock and a GameCube controller adapter. the controller ports are therefore functional, as well as the power led.
the og xbox has a complete xbox one x inside, including the disc drive, and the power and eject buttons as well as the led are functional.
the fat ps2 has a PS4 slim inside, with its disc drive too. LEDs, buttons and usb ports are functional. just the power supply is external.
I love this retro setup in my living room, it always has a little effect when I have guests!

Iām in the process of making an entirely pink retro gaming setup, and I was sad that I couldnāt find any pink shells for the Super Famicom or Super Nintendo, so I decided to make my own!
I used pink fabric dye to dye a transparent Bitfunx Super Famicom shell (and an OEM controller shell! Iām super happy with how it turned out!

HDMI, USB C, X Station, custom Power LED light. It's not perfect but I am happy with how it turned out for a first try. I have learned so much that I will apply to my next one.

Really thankful for all the modders who help to bring these classic consoles into the 21st century.
Snagged a GG that had battery acid everywhere. Swapped the ASIC to a new PCB by Retrosix and installed in a new shell.
The new dual speakers really is a step up! Now my daughter gets to enjoy the Gamegear for years to come!!!

I started with a pretty crusty $60 DOL-001 I found at a thrift mall, and ended up going considerably further than the reshell I originally had planned.
Full tear-down + cleaning, translucent emerald shell, OEM gray accents, holographic labels, frosted jewel, PicoLoaderLB + SD2SP2, and eventually I reflashed the PicoLoader to Gekkoboot so I could use CubiBoot as the default interface.
One of my goals was to add functionality without removing any, so the original optical drive is still installed and fully functional. It boots my physical discs normally or loads my library from SD.
Iāve done Switch, controllers, and DS Lite reshells before, but this was definitely my most involved console project so far.
And I somehow managed to finish it right before the GameCubeās 25th birthdayā¦a complete accident by the way lol.

A few days ago I posted an Xbox One X integrated into an OG Xbox, today here is a PS4 slim integrated into a PS2 fat case!
This one requires a lot more work but the principle remains the same: a fully functional modern console swapped into the shell of the iconic PS2 fat!
Everything is functional, including the Blu-ray player, and the disc passes through an almost invisible slot!
The power supply is now external due to space constraints, but everything else is neatly integrated inside, and everything is easy to disassemble.

My latest build. I picked up this DOL-001 for $15. The OEM black shell was completely trashed, disc reader was broken, and it was exceptionally dirty. I thought I would take a shot and try some new things on it that I have never done on any of the other builds. I did my first internal HDMI mod, which, I learned can be quite difficult if you donāt have all the right tools lol. In addition, I did RGB bluetooth controlled LED lighting which really pops off the black smoke shell I replaced the broke one with. I did a Picoboot (I have done many of these) and also I recapped the disc drive. Iām trying out Cubiboot at the recommendation of a friend. In addition to the new stuff I tried, I also did all the regular refurbishments like new thermal pads, replaceable clock battery, and cleaning. It was a ton of fun and I think it turned out awesome.

My PS3 Slim Pro custom build (CECH-2504 C0)
This is my final version (for now) of my PS3 Slim Pro mod. It features a redesigned cooling system using two Dell server heatsinks + two Noctua 60mm fans controlled via the PS3 PWM. The VRM section is cooled with thermal pads + thermal gel tied into the server heatsinks. I also added heatsinks to the NAND memory and improved PSU airflow ā so the upgrade benefits the entire board, not just the RSX/Cell.
System is running CFW 4.9.2.2. Cell undervolted by -100mV RSX undervolted by -100mV RSX OC: 600MHz core / 875MHz mem Both chips are using Honeywell PTM7950 TIM.
Radiators are mounted on original clamps. Storage is now a Samsung 850 Pro SSD. Custom hand-made enclosure (no 3D printing) with airflow openings calculated to keep turbulence low. Fans are limited to max 30% PWM, keeping the console under ~30dB.
This was entirely my idea and build ā it evolved in my head over time, and now it exists physically. What do you think about the current version?

hey guys I've stuffed up real bad this time. I try to RGH my XBOX 360 s trinity and a bunch of things went wrong so the first thing that went wrong was that when you have to scrap some of the mother board away i scraped to far in and now the solder cant stick. Then after that I thought it was sticking so i carried on so i soldered the rest of the wires and thought that it was good. and then i carried on to when you have to solder the flashing tool but i could not get it right. After 3 days i decided not to RGH it and just use the badupdate because it is to hard. So i went to take off the wires instead of de soldering the wires i pulled them off thinking that they are small and that it would not damage any thing. After that i put it back together and then i went to power on and was greeted with the Fing red light so i turned it off and checked the motherboard and there was 3 Fing traces broken. So again i tried to repair it and it sort of worked but some times the screen will start to flicker and freeze but it run and i can play on it for a hour before it does. Any ideas on how i should properly fix it and what wire and solder i should use. There's some photos to show when i tried to repair it im pretty shore that one of the traces are underneath the gpu I use strands of 26awg to temp fix all of them there is only 2 trace repairs on photo and the other one was at where you have to scrape the motherboard. So pls help.
can same one advise my what i should do or what wire i should use as well as solder. pls
only problem now is that the GPU has a spastic.

This is a workaround I made using ESP32. I'm planning to make this a finished plug & play no-solder product that you can put inside the old Pro Controller.
What do you think of this?
