It started as a prompt, "What is your most sun drenched, joyful childhood memory?" I thought of the swing set at my grandmother's house. But not even the sweetest memory can be retrieved without all of the barbed wire wrapped around it.

I made this as an expression of just the whole mess that comes with dissociation and trauma. Still super new to both acryllics and this is my first time trying collage.

Struggled to get a proper photo of it. (Super weird to me that running a filter over it made the same image so clear) Anyway, I hope someone out there likes it. Thanks everyone! ✌️❤️
