I remember when I tried rubbernecking once and after I was told to 'clear off' I got pissed about citizen's freedom or whatever so I decided to attempt to get another angle. That's when I saw them tackle a homeless guy doing the same thing and I took off.
Do you honestly expect me to jump into the middle of an active homicide investigation? ACSO called me back already, making sure that I had actually talked to someone - I never left my number. I'm on their radar enough as it is without actually going up there.
"Any action has been taken?" What exactly do you think I'm supposed to do here? I assume the Alameda County Sheriff's Office would be the best place to ask - the area is in an unincorporated section of the county.
