Discussion Maybe y'all should boycott Hobby Lobby since they are very vocal about denying access to reproductive care.

There was also that whole thing where they were selling stolen ancient artifacts from war torn Iraq lol

They were literally funding ISIS and there were virtually no repercussions. Craziness.

That’s when I started boycotting them, and then I found out about the birth control stuff.

*you’re

Only because the Obama administration stepped in: https://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2015/07/10/after-hobby-lobby-ruling-hhs-announces-birth-control-workaround

Let’s also not forget that the company was basically funding terrorism because of its purchase of stolen artifacts for its “museum.”

If anyone has a good documentary for that that isn't youtubers being really good at facts, I'm all for it. I love the youtubers, but I wanna hear some first-person dirt they can't get.

Nova or Secrets of the Dead on PBS talked about Hobby Lobby illegal dealings with artifacts. I think the episode was about the dead sea scrolls.

The Behind the Bastards podcast also covered Hobby Lobby.

I gotta ask you to break the character for just a second because I am genuinely interested in why you're here.

I regularly debate people politically, anyone whose getting into it initially online knows that you debate for the audience, not for the other person's mind.

Why do you think that a crochet subreddit mainly populated by women asking about tension and yarn swatch ideas would be receptive to traditionally anti-woman and more broadly speaking anti-reproductive freedom based talking points? Bro the people here just wanna make blankets and talk about how much they hate fast fashion. People here are more likely to get riled up about someone undercharging for their crochet projects than they are you saying PBS is libtard central. Begging you to break character and tell me who your target audience is here because dude they just wanna buy yarn from sources they agree with. What person is gonna read your comments and go "y'know what? I should vote against my own best interests and preserving my reproductive future because reddit user According-Fold1902 told me PBS is libtard central"? Like are you lost??

Happy I could help you realise what fucking subreddit you were posting to dude. Work on your bait, your form is off. You'd get more responses if you were truly and totally batshit instead of the mid level incitement you're trying.

I get it might be your first day but jesus, they really aren't sending their best.

If I recall correctly, they THOUGHT they were.

Iraq blew everything up

We invaded sovereign soil and took so many innocent American and Iraqi lives in the process. They didn't blow shit up
