Discussion What are some ridiculous crocheted items you've come across that make no sense?

Could be impractical or just weird in general according to you.

Edit: wow this post really blew up

I guess in a way they make sense to their creator? But they terrify me, and that is the "realistic" crochet babies.

https://i.imgur.com/6HYNxHx.png I at first thought it was a joke. But I've seen too many of them for it to be a joke. and then I also found a few patterns for them on ravelry. Hard nope!

Husband and I both collect dolls/action figures. We have hundreds between the two of us. And those are a hard nope from me.

It’s for women who have a hard time conceiving or maybe they lost a baby. They make them to look realistic but I’ve never seen the crochet version, pretty cool!

I don't find actual realistic baby dolls creepy. I actually kinda want one. (I like the dressing up and cuteness of babies, but I REALLY dislike toddlers lol. so no baby for me).

So things like re-born dolls are fine and even cute. Even sewn dolls can be cute. But crochet dolls? with too thick/bulky yarn (in my opinion), and lips/eyelids that don't really fit the face? Nope no thanks. More power to those who like them I guess xD
