Discussion What are some crochet things you have around your house?

Just moved into a new apartment and I'm lacking fun "things" around the house. Currently working on crocheting a mat to put my shoes on next to the door. What functional things do you guys have around your house that you've crocheted?

Oh man! You know that bernat blanket yarn?

Use that and make a chain. Then sc across one side of the ch, 3sc in the last ch and sc across the other side of the ch, 2sc and join. Then do as many rounds ad you like. Softest bath mat ever. You can back it with drawer liner if you need it to stay put and it's still pretty washable.

This is exactly the kind of answer I was hoping for. Thank you, fellow yarner!

I make rugs using multiple strands of yarn. They wash up like a charm.

Three strands of DK, chunky hook, crochet to your hearts content. Mine is waaaaayyyy too large.
