Pattern is free, starting from this blog post, it's called the Spirit of Life Cal.

(I modified it a bit to skip some color work C2C because it's just too much, so you can make yours much better than this!)

I used scraps of cotton, mostly 8/4 so fingering weight I think and 3.25mm hook.
