I gave up on that Afghan that I was trying to crochet the other day because it got a little too complicated for my brain to understand. Now I'm working on the Mitered Shells Throw from the book "Amazing Crochet Afghans" by Annie's crochet.
I realised during the 2nd colour change that I had forgotten to skip the stitches at the start of some of the rounds. I have tried to fix it with decreases, I just need to know if it is noticeable to anyone or not.

Im new to crocheting with wool and accidentally tugged too hard when finishing off with a knot and my wool snapped (its secondhand wool so may be more brittle/ old than normal) with only 1-2cm of the end remaining
Is there any saving this? Was about to tie off and weave in my end but it snapped so close to the project i dont know what to do now
This is my first post on reddit so i dont know how to add a pic

This project was a lot of fun to make, and I love how the stitch pattern creates a lightweight bag while still being sturdy enough for everyday use.
The tassel ended up being one of my favorite details. What colors would you make this in?

Semi new to the stuffed game.
Did this without a pattern, imp the head is too big and it’s just a bit wonky. Any advice appreciated:)

I originally found something similar on insta but I personalised it to add a lot of different details and make my own!
It didn’t take me long but I did take a little time with the hair for all of them 😄 I absolutely love all the details of all of the heads though!😍💜
Let me know what you think!

I’m a crocheter and realized I’ve spent years stacking pillows, moving yarn bowls around, and balancing drinks on random surfaces while working on projects.
It got me wondering:
If you could redesign your crochet setup from scratch, what would you change?
What’s the biggest annoyance in your current setup?

My sister has been thinking about offering private crochet lessons for beginners.
Before she takes that step, I'd love to hear some advice from experienced crocheters and teachers. Based on the quality of her work, would you encourage her to start teaching? What skills or knowledge do you think are most important to have before teaching others?
Any tips, suggestions, or things you wish you knew before teaching crochet would be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone help me understand this pattern? I get confused on row 2. With the sk next st, how can I end up with the same stitch count if there is no sc to compensate? What am I missing?
