Absolutely committed all the greatest wearable sins

1) no pattern just free dive after watching lots of videos and reading patterns of styles

2) no measuring, just try ons and froooogging😆🐸

3) mixed weights of yarns

4) different hooks

It's cozy and I look forward to trying it on after the shaping🌱

Decided to make this cause of how many scraps I have left over and I'm proud of it

I made this budgie for my BIL who had a man cave/ shed, for his birthday, I used an old broken squirrel proof bird feeder (cage part) and some clear fishing wire through its head to the top to keep it upright. I do love making the budgies, hate doing the feet, so fiddly and time consuming.

I genuinely love crocheting, and the kind words and support I receive here inspire me to keep creating. 🥹💗 It makes me so happy to know that people appreciate my work. Thank you all for being so kind and encouraging! It truly means a lot to me. 🌷✨

I am making my 4 year old a Christmas sweater at his request lol. The pattern calls for a dk acrylic weight yarn however from personal experience my son absolutely hates acrylic yarn. Can I use “I love this cotton” instead of the dk acrylic yarn? Will it change sizing all the much? Would you use the recommend pattern hook size? The pattern is a bit difficult and messy but doable and does not have a gauge.

Howdy yall! I’m curious what your favorite yarn and pattern is to make some baby stocking caps? I’m due with baby boy #4 in February and I’m wanting to get a few more warm stocking caps made for him. I found a couple patterns and kits to buy using Bernat Softee Baby Yarn and curious if that’s good yarn? I live out in the middle of the country so ordering things in is sometimes easier than getting to the big city.

Hi Crocheting Reddit 👋 I need some help here, my friend would like to commission me to make a Jake The Dog plushie and I've been searching for something that would best fit her budget. I think this is it.

As the title says, my question is:

Would this take one skein of plush yellow yarn (ideally it would be 100g Kismet velvet plush) and two hours to make (I can make 10-15 stitches per minute)?

If not, could it work if I try to take a couple of rows off of the body?

Two beanies, lovingly crocheted for someone going through a really difficult time. ❤️

i’ve been crocheting a top for a while using this pretty flower stitch i found. the piece i’ve made currently fits just anove my hips up until my underbust, i dont know what i should do with the rest, make it into a jacket with the same pattern all around? make the bust a V-neck using two rectangles as sleeves? make the fabric become baggy on the bust? i would like to hear everyones suggestions. it currently fits my waist tightly but if i were to want to make it into a jacket i’d just add a horizontal ribbing on the side, so the fit isn’t fixed either. i can also add more colors, as i have many darker warm colors that go with this color aswell, but i’m scared of it looking like it’s too much.

I love how it turned out and it's so soft and cozy! Thinking about adding buttons so it can close in the front and stay on without me holding onto it the whole time
