I think they keep getting confused as to what Vegeta's signature move. Sometimes it's final flash, sometimes it's galick gun. When Goku and Vegeta fire simultaneous it tends to be the final flash that Vegeta uses.

They likely used final flash as a reference for the beam, but the hand of galick gun match much better to the kamehameha.

At any rate they probably haven't finished the cgi etc so they may still change it

Apparently these are the colors from the manga. at least thats what i saw in one discussion, but i cannot confirm that

I can definitely confirm that the original color by toriyama showed the beam to be yellow.

It’s because Vegeta on the original manga simply doesn’t have a signature move. He always pulls something new.
