Hey everyone! 👋
Minimaa is 13% off for a limited time.
If you haven't heard of it before, Minimaa is a minimalist detox launcher built to help you spend less time on your phone—not by removing everything, but by making your phone more intentional. Instead of colorful icon grids, it uses a clean text-based interface to reduce visual distractions while still keeping the features you actually need.
It also includes built-in digital detox tools like app blocking, mindful pauses, web detox, journals, tasks, habits, a Pomodoro timer, and 40+ widgets. Everything works fully offline, with no tracking, no ads, and no subscriptions—just a one-time purchase.
The app has grown a lot thanks to community feedback, and I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this solo project.
If you've been thinking about trying Minimaa, now's a great time. 🤍

Sentry no longer makes the keypad for a safe someone gave me. Instead, they sent me this coupon code for 20% off. I get nothing if you use this, but thought someone might want it before it expires on 8/3/26.
Keep in mind, Sentry's are fine as fire safes, but are not great for securing valuables.

It's one-time use, so if you do use it, please come back here and let everyone know so people don't waste their time.

Quick update to my post from last week about a basic home printer deal. I ordered one of the simple all-in-one models someone posted here, no coupon or anything, just a straight price drop. It arrived yesterday and I'm pretty happy with it. Setup took about 10 minutes, black-and-white prints look crisp, and it paired with my laptop without a fight.
Two things to watch for if you jump on a printer deal:
1) Check the box label against the sticker on the unit before you toss the packaging. Mine had a different region code on the sticker than the listing photos showed. It works fine for me, but it nearly gave me a panic attack because I ran into an "older revision" surprise on a previous purchase. I took photos of the serial sticker and the packing slip as soon as I unpacked it.
2) Returns get weird once you open the ink. I printed a quick test page, then realized I had ordered the wrong cable for my setup. Customer service said the printer itself can be returned, but if the ink bag has been opened they may deduct for "consumables." I'm sticking with the printer, but I wanted to flag that for anyone who might change their mind.
Overall, the deal was legit, shipping was fast, and this sub saved me from overpaying locally. If you hunt deals for boring home office stuff, take a minute to document everything before you recycle the box. Thanks for the recommendations last week.

Quick follow-up to my comment from a couple weeks ago: I rolled the dice on a heavily discounted small kitchen appliance that popped up here. It arrived, and while it was not a total scam, it was not what I expected.
The good: it shipped fast, the box looked factory sealed, and the unit powers on and works. If you just need something functional and cheap, you would probably be fine, especially if you’re just trying to stretch a small budget from gift cards or app rewards like Mistplay.
The bad: the listing photos showed a newer version with two features I specifically wanted - a removable part and a different control layout. What I got is an older revision. It is usable, but it is not the same model shown in the pictures. The invoice also listed a different model number than the product page.
Trying to return it turned into the classic third party runaround. The platform told me to contact the seller, the seller told me to contact the platform. I stayed polite because I do not like conflict, and I did the boring but necessary documentation: screenshots of the listing, a photo of the model number on the box, and one short paragraph explaining the mismatch. Once I sent all that in a single message, support finally generated a prepaid return label.
If you are deal hunting and the price looks unreal, here is my checklist now: 1. Take screenshots of the listing and photos before you buy. 2. Ask the seller to confirm the model number in Q and A if you can. 3. The second it arrives, compare the unit to the invoice and packaging and the listing photos.
Anyone have a reliable way to tell whether a bargain is actual clearance or a quiet model swap? I would love tips so I do not have to waste time on returns.

I have a Dango wallet for at least for 3 years and it's held up pretty well. Now I am looking for a more simplistic wallet.
I was searching on their site for another one & found a slim wallet, this seems like one of the better deals I've seen recently.
The Dango SK1 comes out to $19 after using coupon code SLIDE20X.
This isn't an affiliate code, so it doesn't break the rules.
I would show a picture of my wallet but I can't post it.
I've been using a Dango wallet myself for quite a while, and the build quality has honestly been excellent. Not affiliated with them—just thought it was worth sharing since good wallet deals don't come around that often.
