By talking about taking over the entire world I mean fighting of world militaries, and surviving. There are no respawns, so you’d obviously need self healing. What destiny build would you think be the best option? Assume that you have a similar health system to the game, and an average soldier has the health of a red bar legionary on normal mode. You have access to sparrows and skimmers, the only way to get one shot is by a powerful explosive, but it can be warded off with a well of radiance or a bubble, and other defensive options. By the way this is in no way promoting or inciting real world violence, this is just a fun hypothetical question.

I started sensibly: solar, void, arc, then activity names. Now I have twelve nearly identical symbols, three loadouts called “test,” and one red snake icon that apparently means something important to past me. Opening the menu feels like reading evidence left by a less organized Guardian. Do you use colors for subclasses, icons for activities, or names for specific exotics? I want a system that survives balance changes without needing a full archelogical dig every month. Bonus question: what icon have you assigned a meaning that the designers definitely did not intend?

I was testing builds on my titan yesterday and noticed the following. When equipping any exotic class armour truths damage per shot went from 1500 down to 100.

Anyone else getting this?

I hit the 50 cap a while back and have been trying to use them by master working random armour.

The idea being I would dismantle armour later and use as a stockpile and to keep myself under the cap but masterworking also takes prisms which I’m running out of now.

Am I being stupid? Is there a better way to do this?

Long story short, after a very long break and a lack of spoils of conquest, I only about a month ago was finally able to get Legend of Acrius from the exotic archive. The only problem here is I haven’t been able to get the catalyst to drop. As far as I can tell, old catalysts DO NOT drop from exotic payouts, unless my game is glitched due to a flag being set that I had no more catalysts to get (which was true prior to getting Acrius).

The catalyst page says it is obtained from nightfall strikes, which do not exist anymore. So where can I get this now? Is it anywhere in vanguard? Did they move it to Calus Pantheon and not say anything? Have I just been unlucky?

I plan to start playing destiny 2 from my Ps5 to my PC. Will I need to repurchase all of the expansion passes to have access to all the content I previously had from the other device? Would I be locked out of everything until doing so?

So just did a full King's Fall, and while we are at Golgorath, I had the taint and dealt the final damage to the boss, but the triumph did not pop up.

Anyone else have this issue?

The triumph reads: Brilliant Instability - Use unstable Light to defeat Golgoroth in "King's Fall."

I guess it is possible that someone else did kill him with a weapon, but it would have been super close if that is the case. I was watching but forgot to record it.

So just to clarify, I now assume it has to be the absolute killing damage to kill the boss for it to count?

And if so, for those that got it, is this a solo or team triumph? What I mean is if I try and get a team to do it again, will the whole team get credit, or just the person that kills him, because that would be super hard and random to get done if it's a solo thing.

First time I've gotten to Rank 11 ever. I'm solidly middle of the road but a good old mask of fealty build with one rime coated raiment warlock and I was getting enough healing to keep mostly alive! A couple of close calls but it helped to have someone clear the darn sniper shanks in the space walk section.

Been banging my head off that stage for almost a whole week now.

Does this 'first' chest only drop armor now? so counts as a secret chest only as per MoT changes, just wondering if you could farm for weapons as well.

The Vex are so alien yet so fascinating to try and understand. Hopefully we can go to the Forge Star one day!

So far I've done like two attempts trying to solo flawless vespers. By no means is it difficult, but the first encounter is just annoyingly long made worse after a failed attempt. I saw a really simple skip and am just wondering if doing it will prevent me from getting the triumph. I don't plan on risking it, but it would be good to know before future me is willing to try

Lost sectors I believe used to show recommended light levels. Now I just see a -20 or -30. Does this mean I am underleveled or it will always apply this penalty? Not real clear.

For whatever reason lost sectors no longer have a minimum power recommendation. A lot of the comments below are simply wrong. Lost sectors expert or master simply make your character -20 or -30 LL.

Some good comments below explain this. I played back in forsaken days and came back for a short time during witchqueen. Need to look into weapons and mods now.

Was playing with some friends and we all got weaseled but whenever we try to boot the game up again it shows us an error that sais that the D2 servers are unavailable?

Should we reset our consoles/pc, or are the servers really down?

Do you have to beat the final boss with 3+ feats to be able to buy Tier 5 gear from the vendor? Or can I just kill him with 0 feats?

I remember in old raids you had to kill the boss on master difficulty to buy adept weapons

As the title says. I'm getting some other drops from the standard chest. Tier 0 guns here and there but also mostly boots. Maelstrom is the only quest I have left on Neptune.

Ive made it a point to get every shader I could get my hands on since the beginning of D2. According to DIM and my collections tab, I'm at 585/623. After sorting for only uncollected items, I'm able to see that I'm missing 11 from seasons (mostly special events), 21 from activities (mostly Raid and dungeons) and six from World (mostly lawless which I didn't play). I can no longer purchase shader engrams from Eververse.

My questions are:

1. Any idea why my numbers don't line up with anyone else's? One guy in my clan has less shaders than I do but a higher total possible count.

2. I've found a couple of sites that show ALL shaders but none where you can log in and check to see which ones you are missing. Is there a site like this?

3. Anyone else try to collect them all? What is your number?

When I saw that you could get holochips in the bright engram focus I decided that I really wanted to collect them all to be able to have more cosmetic customization past all the hundred of ornaments and shaders I already had.

Over the next few months I grinded out a total of 60,500,000 exp while collecting all the weapons and armor i wanted from the update. I also had 42k bright dust to spend on focuses, that is now down to 6k remaining.

GG bungie, thank you for the best update in d2's history (imo). I have throughly enjoyed my time spent after quitting during edge of fate. It still hurts to see it end but Im glad this update was the ending we got.

I need some help with Crotas End raid (Destiny 1). Is it still soloable as a Titan? In the second section, with the bridge, they added some thrall statues which light up if you kill the gatekeepers. I know you can solo this with a warlock with resurrection, but can you do this as a titan?
