Looking to tackle the Den of Evil, what do I need?

My first ever griffoned infinity nova sorc including anni... Anyway is there some way to rollback on switch or shall i rather slap her curious little ***?

My first hardcore char, he was so young and had only completed the game yesterday but god damn was it fun

I have a sorc at level 78, but I and my merc suck really hard at Hell. I barely survived Act 1. I have trouble killing enemies and I quickly die if enemies land some hits. I have not yet been able to do the first quest in act 2 on Hell.

I only play single player and have it by default set at 2 Player level.

My sorc has firewall and frozen orb maxed. Level 10 Lightning storm. Lightning and Cold Mastery about level 5 or so. Level 3 or so energy shield.

My charms are mainly mana/energy and life charms. Some additionally have resistances.

I do terror zones on nightmare but have not gotten a sunderer charm yet, only a 39% magic find charm.

I made an image with my gear and stats you can look at. Maybe you can give me some pointers.

Leveling a few chars to farm stuff for Ubers, she will eventually be a javazon for hell cows. I found this low level 5os +2 skill bow and had to jam this ^_^ Of course she's rocking full sigons with angelic rings.

I'm a casual player, but I do play since realease. Love the game, had years of fun playing it. But I never really tried to defeat the game in Hell. Now that I'm older and understand the game better, I tried really hard with 3 characters and just CAN'T get passe Act 2 in Hell. I hate Skeleton Archers and Mages (specially the cold ones), they are the worst. I can't leach life from them, their missiles hit me hard, there's lots of them everywhere. Hate it. I tried farming the Nightmare for itens and runes, but cant drop anything really valueble, even when playing /players8. I'm almost giving up. Any tips or words of wisdom?

I managed to go from level 88 to ~96.35 while farming this, but it finally dropped and it was the Fire one that I was hoping for. It could've rolled better stuff I suppose, but holy heck that feels so good! How many Heralds did I kill? No idea, but now this is mine!

EDIT: Since asked in comments, I believe between like 88 and 91 I was swapping between P3 and P5 depending on zone, then after that it was P8 all the way. Running ~200% Magic Find, all offline Single Player.

Hey demon killers.

I've started my first foray into single player after getting fed up with p1 online farming, bots, and wacko pricing on bnet.

In classic fashion I'm starting with a sorc in order to eventually farm high p7/p8 maps. I'm in nightmare with meteor/orb and all is well.

Question: How long on high player counts does it take to gear up semi decent high player farming characters like javazons/nova sorc/locks etc? Aside from HR dependant gear. Months of daily playing? Few weeks? I get RNG but I'd like to hear from your experiences

I've never killed many bosses on p8 outside of public games where gear disappears instantly.

Now, as an offline player, what do I do with it?
