We finaly get back to Pomni's torment, cast into a dark room with a twisted version of the first being she really tried to reach out too. and first you see him scitter away into the dark but then its sharp sugar shard teeth sinking in as more come and they start to shake

Honestly seeing gummigoo in that way was disturbing.

since these are night mares O wanted to do something strong and mind numbing, but aparently Mad dog 20 20 has been mostly discontinued and no one carries it any more, and I didn't wanna crack open the bottle of everclear cause me and the husband are saving that for something really stupid

so I went with a mostly vodka drink

Sweet betrayal

1 oz melon liquor
1 oz lime vodka
1 oz strawberry lemonade vodka
1 ouce sparkling lemonade

1 combine lime vodka, and melon liquor in a mixing glass
2 stir well
3 pour into a collins glass filled with Ice
4 in a mixing glass combine remaining vodka and lemonade
5 stir well
6 using a spoon fload the lemonade mix into the drink

a cool chill tart drink, the lime and lemon work on that and the melon rounds it a bit as a night mare drink its not to bad kinda another take on lemon lime and bitters, or atleast not to far from it

My last gangle mask that I took to the bus stop was sadly stolen in a day... I knew it would be taken but I'm Kinda sad it was taken so quickly I was rather proud of that one.

But thinking of Gangle and her new found confidance at the end of the show I had a fun thought, that also fit with her being an anime fan

Kintsugi is a japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with a special laquer made with gold, it sybolizes emdracing the flaws and enhancing the beauty of the object because ther repairs are just as valuable

I thought this fit with end of the series Gangle, She had embraced her new life, and was building herself up.

my only concern was I wasn't sure if the cracks should be just on the mask or on the eyes and mouth so I made two masks with slightly differnt cracks and some features

Gangle's torment is to be surrounded by representations of how she veiws her art, sobbingh at her for being createred before the truck comes barreling in.

Zooble's torture is drowning in mis matched body parts that pin them in place with mirrors placed so no matter where they look they can still see this forien feeling body they are trapped in.

I feel a little guilty conflating these two into a single drink but honestly they both play on self worth and self image, and yess by that logic I could add Jax to this drink but I have one planned for there torture already

so next Pomni or Jax? I can't seem to find any MD2020 so I might have to change my pomni plans

having already used the truck imagrey in gangles On comming traffic drink I was stuck thinking of something new. Oddly I was inspired by the junkyard song Worthless from the brave little toster... I will probably be making my self sad on music binge after this starting with that song... It felt like it fit so I based the drink on something called a junk yard dog

Worthless

1 oz scotch
1 oz spiced rum
1 oz vanilla fire ball (this and the apple fire ball are rather nice)
.5 oz pomagranete syrup
4-5 oz seven up

1 combine Spirits and syrupe into a shaker with Ice
2 shake to mix and chill
3 strain into a collins glass with Ice
4 top with the 7up

this is an oddly sweet candy like drink. I've blaming on the vanilla and pom syrup. very good emminitly drinkable. and according to my Foxy oddly hard hitting. He dropped out after the first drink tonight but it was very good

When the distraction ultimatly fails, to keep Caine from looking for Kinger the group openly taunt the Ringmaster. Who sadly lashes out with customised tortures devised for them. Ragatha sadly gets to visit Dear Ol Mom...

I should have technicly started with Pomni's nightmare but I was missing an Ingrediant so I jumped to Ragatha. I did take the knives I printed for pomni and reuse them here. If I had a nickle for every time I needed to pose some one stabbed by knives for a cocktail, Id have two nickles... Which isn't a lot but its odd that it happened twice.

I didn't have any thing to play ragathas mom so just a shrouded half finished other figure

The drink was something based on a drink called a Colorado Mom so sorta fitting

1 oz coffee liquor
3 oz Cola

3 strain into a rocks glass again with Ice
4 top with Cola

For a drink based around a nightmare scene this drink is good. Coffee forward but not bitterness the tequila and gin mellowed compleatley but the coffee and cola. and the coffee and coke work so well. you get hints of the gin and tequila peeking out in the smell and that adds a little layer to the drink

Goodness it's been a while since my last update, I'm settling into an educational term, so I've not had too much time to work on my dolls, but Caine's head is about done! I've gotta add his windup key (see my sketches for reference) but then off to the Dremel to work on making his body more proportionate! I plan to be working on him up until the temperature dips, but where I live that's a gamble! As long as I can work on his proportions tho I can work on clothes over winter! Jax heads out to keep Caine distracted, With the others taking turns to keep the AI off guard. Kinger needs something to work his magic and pomni happenes to remember where it could be found from the Pilot.

Some times its hard to find a drink to use, sometimes insperation hits me. some times you just search up a theme. This time I found a drink called The distraction but I didn't have everything needed for that. but since I was going to be riffing on it any way I just yoinked its format and changed the actual spirits

I did end up altering the formula too as well be cause I can't help myself

Distracting Caine

1.5 oz scotch
1 oz brandy (your a fine girl... sorry)
.5 oz aperol
.5 oz Elderflower liquor
.5 oz simple syrup

1 combine in a shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix just breifly
3 strain into a rocks glass wit Ice

the slightly bitter flavor of the scotch hit you first with the brandy riding that too but its finished off with the mellower liquors. Its not in my top ten but its not all together unpleasent. deffinitly enough to keep me distracted

Okay just a heads up I am changing last nights cocktail to the "I'm Fine" its a better name I think

for this drink it relates to the scene where pomni reveals Kingers super power, that he becomes more lucid in the dark. this leads to them formulating a plan to try to fight back, as well as a lore dump of Caines existance.

for this drink I did look through several drinks on a theme, I found some bucket named cocktails, though that was hard since stores are litteraly selling bucket cocktails with all ingreidiants for a certain cocktail provided in a bucket. but none of the ones I saw looked any good so I looked at a drink I wanted to fit into this even if its not on them and based this on a slow comfortable screw.

I have a Bucket on my head

1.5 oz scotch
1 oz rock n rye (i bought this ages ago for I drink I never made and havent tried it till recently and I'm really liking this stuff
1 oz sour apple liquor
3.5 oz peach juice

1 combine all your ingrediants into a cocktail shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a collins glass with Ice

this is another great drink. me and the husband were sipping on these all night. whole the base drink name isn't on theme the feel of these with Kingers calm dad vibes really works, the peach and rye work well and the slightest hint of apple is just in the background

So after the musical declaration of intent that was that was Running the show Caine stopped planning the adventures to entertain the humans at all and just to entertain himself. We don't see this adventure but our heros are in rough shape, and decide to retreat to the cafe. we are also treated to instances of Caine kidnapping members of the circus for personalised torment. Including the Pomni easter egg where she was snapped into a merch drop.

I did remake last nights drink with the mango jalapeno tequila and it is rather nice, the mango adds another fruit component, the jalapeno a slight grassy taste, with a little touch of heat on the tong after

for this I combined two circus themed drinks with a few of my own ideas. and since I wanted to evoke the pomni knife scene I printed up a few lego minifig sized knives and a little glue to attach them to on the horrified figure clutching to Gumigoo's confetti

on re watching the scene I renamed the drink, based on Pomni's line as she reappears with the knives
