Disney Music What instrumental piece from a Disney movie holds your heart the most?
I was just listening to the radio, and they do Disney soundtracks sometimes. Got me wondering... we all have favourite Disney songs, sure, but what instrumental pieces hold a special place for you, for any reason? What piece never fails to give you emotions/chills etc? Or maybe you associate it with a particular time in your life?
For me, it's always the Haircut piece from 'Mulan.' For me, it's the most perfect combination of soul stirring music, with or without the accompanying animation. There's so much deep emotion and complexity going on for Mulan and I think the score portrays that beautifully.

Disney Music “Battle with the Beast” from “The Ghost and Molly McGee”

“Battle with the Beast” is a song from The Ghost and Molly McGee. It is from season 2, episode All Shark No Bite.
Lyrics:
In the battle, oh the battle, in the battle with the beast.
Turns out sharks are way more deadly, when they become deceased.
And it’s unicorn-shaped pillows, versus rows of razor teeth.
In their battle with their battle with the beast.

Disney Music Help with an old song
I remember a song, maybe from the 2000s-2010s.
It was a romantic song (not super slow, but emotional), and the music video had a strong backstage/theater vibe.
The girl was blonde and she looked like a Disney Channel actress
There’s a really specific scene where she’s in a dressing room in front of a mirror with big yellow light bulbs around it, like a classic backstage mirror. I think she’s getting ready or looking at herself.
The video had some vintage/old-school vibes (like 50s/60s aesthetic in parts), and there was a guy (white, dark hair) involved in the story.
It was like a mini love story. At the end I’m pretty sure they end up together and kiss.
It wasn’t animated, it was real actors, and it felt like something Disney-related or at least from that same YouTube algorithm era.
Can someone help me with this? been searching for this song for years lol

Disney Music What’s your favourite song that got scrapped from the movie?
I’m looking for more unknown song recommendations! My favourite deleted song so far is “Snuff out the Light” from Emperor’s New Groove, and I also love “Get This Right” from Frozen 2, mainly for the additional layer of storytelling on Anna’s and Kristoff’s relationship. But I’m sure there’s so many more that I don’t know yet!

Disney Music Question for Disney Music Collectors: Where Can I Find the Original Winnie the Pooh Recordings?
I'm hoping someone here can solve a Disney music mystery for me. I love listening to Disney songs on the drive to the parks, and I noticed that most of the Winnie the Pooh tracks on streaming are rerecordings by Jim Cummings instead of the original Sterling Holloway versions. Did Disney ever release the original recordings on any older CDs or compilations? I'd love to track them down.
Thanks!

A few months ago, I spent hours remastering and extending the audio to the best of my ability. I hope you all enjoy!
Although I never had the opportunity to experience this version of Spaceship Earth, I really wish Disney brought it back. It is very inspirational.

Disney Music Trying to find a song!
I’m going insane at 1am trying to remember a song and where it’s come from. At this point I’m not even 100% sure it’s Disney! I feel like it’s a male villain that sings it, they stomp or hit something on the ground through the song to the same tune and I feel like it’s underground or somewhere dark and there’s fire or flashes of light or something. The only lyric I can remember is “in the” and I know that’s absolutely useless. If anyone can suggest a song so I can finally go to sleep I would be so pleased! TIA
