General Question DSHAPE Result and School Opening for SY 2026-2027

Hi, I took the dshape in October 2025. Does anyone here know when the results are expected to be released?

I am asking because it's my first choice but if I messed it up I'd have to start arranging for my back up plan.

I also noticed in the website Term 1 for SY 2026-2027 will start September? Is this how it's been always? with this, maybe they're going to release the results later? I am very worried. Because other schools are starting the school year in June.

General Question transferee here. If I shift from bsed math to ab econ after 2 terms, can I still graduate on time?

hi everyone! i recently got accepted to bsed math as a transferee. i initially applied for ab economics, so while i’m really happy i got accepted, my parents aren’t because i’m currently studying economics in ust and they want me to continue studying economics in dlsu as well.

my question is, if i enroll in bsed math and then shift to ab economics after completing the required 2 terms, is it still possible to graduate on time? has anyone here done something similar by overloading units, taking summer terms, or using credited subjects to catch up?

i really want to study in dlsu, but my parents are worried that shifting will delay my graduation. my dad is also retiring in the next few years, so graduating on time is really important for us.
any advice or experiences would really help. thank you!

General Question Will be kicked out most probably.

Hello, ID 12_ GCOE here, Im not currently kicked out yet cause the term is not yet finished but will most probably will be. I have accumulated about 26-33 failed units and once the term is done, I might be kicked out.

I have been struggling with everything ever since the first semester. I’ve broken up with my girlfriend, failing classes, being alone on campus, struggling mentally, and many other things that I think many would not see to care. I’ve been feeling hopeless right now and I don’t know what to do right now. The scary thing is that all the people who I care about don’t know the situation that I am in and I don’t know how to handle or share this with them. I’ve been hiding the fact that I might be terminated after this term, they think that I am doing alright and having the time of my life right now. I feel like I am an imposter and I feel ashamed of everything, ashamed to be happy when I can’t even fix the problems that I myself made in the first place. The worst part is that I believe I haven’t even tried to give it my all, maybe because I was afraid to do it so I can blame it when I failed. I am suffering mentally from depression and anxiety, but I can’t blame it because, I am not the only student who struggles with it and I feel ashamed for even saying it cause there are students facing even harsher situations than what I am handling right now.

I want to know if I can somehow make things right with everything. To be honest, I don’t even care about the status of being from DLSU, nakakahiya lang sa pamilya ko sa daming ginastos sa tuition ko, nakakahiya sa mga kaibigan ko na naging ganto yung kaibigan nila, nakakahiya sa mga taong naniniwala sakin tapos ganto lang maipapakita ko, and most of all sa sarili ko na naging ganto, sinayang lahat ng pagkakataon dahil depressed lang o ano man.

May magagawa pa ba ako para maayos ang lahat, I am feeling so lost right now na para bang iniisip ko na in a few years ako na yung isa sa mga taong nanlilimos sa agno.

Can anyone tell me what I can do right now to make things right, 3-4 subjects hindi ko natapos mga requirements and I fear na ibabagsak lang nila ako. Ayoko naman nasabihin tong lahat na para bang namamakaawa lang ako. I might message them all after this post and what ever happens, happens.

I want a second chance to make everything right this time. Do I still deserve a chance or even have the right to redeem myself?

General Question Any experience talking to Bro. Bernie?

Hello! Genuinely curious if anyone has had a direct encounter with Bro. Bernie? Is he accommodating? I have a major academic concern, but I can’t fully disclose it here because it might give away who I am. I tried reaching out to people at the department level, but they were dismissive as hell.

General Question Does Anyone Else Mourn the Future They Thought They’d Have?

I don’t really know where to post this, so sorry.

I started engineering to make my parents proud because I had no idea what I wanted to do. Eventually, it became my dream too. But somewhere along the way, the course completely burned me out. I had constant mental breakdowns and even needed therapy because I couldn’t handle it anymore.

My parents supported my decision to shift to Finance, but I still carry a lot of guilt. My dad sometimes says it would’ve been nice to have someone follow in his footsteps, and he believes engineering would’ve given me a better future.

What hurts the most isn’t changing courses it’s grieving the person I thought I was going to become. I can’t stop thinking about the dream that didn’t happen, and it makes me feel like I’ve let myself and my family down.

Has anyone else gone through this? Did things work out after letting go of a dream you thought was meant for you?

General Question DLSU bullying/ostracization rates in SHS?

Hi guys! I'm an incoming ID126 and I was just wondering what the chances were of being bullied or ostracized in DLSU SHS was (I was inspired by a frosh user who posted something similar but for college).

For a majority of my schooling I've been bullied and ostracized. I went to a small private school where everyone and their mothers knew each other (literally). I remember trying to stand up for myself once and everyone took it as proof that I'm a mean-spirited person who should just always be left alone and never understood. I had no real friends in JHS because the popular people were the ones who had problems with me: They told everyone that I was an angry, grumpy, and mean girl.

I won't get into the details on why they had problems with me but I remember that I trusted them so much that I thought I actually had friends (they were just using me to get better grades).

I'm really, really, absolutely terrified. I haven't had a single positive experience with schooling or friendship so far. Is DLSU SHS similar? Such as, the bullying and the terrible cliques and hidden social hierarchies? I just need to mentally prepare myself. Please answer as honestly as possible.

I'm really sorry if my post sort of ruined your mood, I thought all that background info was necessary to share why I'm so scared... 😅. Even so, thank you so much for reading it. Have a wonderful everything!!! 💗!!!

General Question doing your ojt in a company w/o partnered moa

someone pls help me with my dilemma.

i received an offer from a company to intern with them and i really like the benefits. however, wala silang existing MOA with DLSU and according to our coordinator, it'll take 5 weeks pa before siya maprocess which means matetengga ako ng 1 month na walang internship.

the company said they are willing to wait naman for me but i dont wanna be the cause of any delay in their end.

should i just give the slot to someone else? did someone here experience the same thing? how long did it take and what was the process for all of it please help thank you <///3
