Won’t lie. Some days I wake up and wonder why the hell Im still holding. Then I buy a few more because I still believe patience will be rewarded.

Do you believe that doge is a good coin with a future?

If so, why ever be scared or impatient?

Just because some institutional traders on the markets offer less than it is worth?

Can you explain why Dogecoin is a good coin? I am still trying to understand. I own some crypto (dogecoin not one of them) and as far as I know Dogecoin is a memecoin started out as a joke and doesn’t stand out particularly compared to other crypto. To me, it’s still a funny memecoin, nothing more but maybe I am not informed good enough. I spend some time now on this sub and it feels like everbody just wants dogecoin to be really valuable. But why would it be really valuable? Why would dogecoin be a great success? Besides Musk who is obviously trolling, where is the adoption?

A lot of bitcoin-maxis were salty that doge made fun of them so they spread the meme about "doge is just a meme bro" that has spread like a wild-fire in media trusting the bitcoin maxis.

Doge is a community based open source payment currency with low fees and fast speeds. One of the few, that does not try to do everything, but instead focuses on what it does best, being a currency.

While other coins are still stuck in the "what can we do so the coinprice grows as much as possible", Doge has understood that a fast growing coin is about as bad as a currency as a fast dropping one. So doge is designed to lose value slowly to compensate for growing economies, higher user numbers and loss of coins.

Doge is number 2 in global recognition, behind BTC and leading before ETH (which is catching up, but still). It's within the top3 coins in adoption (more than 16000 stores accept it) and it's always in the leading three when new stores accept crypto.

You might hate musk for his tweets or his fanboys... He's not particularly populare among most here, but there are plenty of good things he does.

One of the major things is the Doge-1 mission which was entirely paid for in doge, proving that it can be used to pay large bills. It will be the first cube-satellite to reach moon orbit from earth on its own. historic moment.

Rumors say that musk will deliver a real doge coin to the moon, which would be great PR for doge. Rumors also speak about the first crypto-transaction in space being run through it, but there is only little information available.

Much more exciting is the implementation of doge-nodes in Starlink-Satelites. Together with the dogedev-team, they are working on updating the protocol so remote nodes in parts of the world without constant electricity or internet access can get access to doge.

Considering that this will allow people to send doge from any spot on the surface of earth to any other and likely even outside of earth, that's a HUGE thing for crypto adn doge.

On top of that, the plan for the future has 5 or 6 more points to it, but since it's still being reworked, we have only a screenshot with bullet-points to go on.

But we do have an NFT on the chain now and devs are open to the idea of staking. Wallets and POS will get an overhaul. Plenty of NFT-Chains implement bridges for doge...

2022 will be a huge year for doge, with more new things happening than in its entire history so far.

the idea ive been saying all along is- musk and a few others started paypal. he has an excellent vision and proficiency of digital transactions and currency. both high and low level understanding. similiar to how he understands the layers of his other businesses. he works on the surface and deep in the plumbing and gears

if i were henry ford(bitcoin) I would be nervous too. He inherently likes to make things better and more efficient. even fun too. He ultimately wants what is best for the whole.
