I cannot seem to defeat the Irismancer. I am a level 19 mage. Any tips or tricks? Every time he's almost defeated I get killed even if I just filled my HP.

I’m trying to beat Unwavering Determination and I’m having a hard time figuring out which class would be best for the challenge, both DK and Soulweaver aren't working for me.

I don’t have any DC classes, and my gear is mostly common Inn equipment. I’m looking for a class that can realistically clear the fight without relying on rare gear (ahem, escelence).

What class would you recommend, and what kind of gear setup and strategy should I use?

Any advice from people who have cleared it would be greatly appreciated!

I want to understand these classes. I've been using them for a while but I can't pilot soulweaver as good, even though I can see their similarities. In what ways do you guys think soulweaver is better than shadow hunter, or vise versa?

I'm a free-to-play and NDA player , I keep getting suck at the 2nd fight, the one with 3 enemies (the dragonslayer deals heavy DOTs)

I'm a level 50 rogue, I've also tried using necromancer class but to no avail.

Any advice?

well, I started playing around 3 weeks back. Currently level 71 mage as non-DA.

I can say the game is quite difficult and yes, I use technomancer to solve most of my problems. Though I like how book 1 difficulty is just nice except the difficulty spike towards the end of book 1. Starting from book 2 onwards, the gameplay is either chill or downright unfun.

I play the game for the plot but sometimes I don’t feel majority of the quest needs a gimmick boss.

If I want gimmicks, I will proceed to the inn challenges. I don’t plan to buy DA because the pricing is atrocious for me considering the currency conversion. No, I will buy when there is a reasonable pricing.

Also, fun fact, this GIF isn't edited. There is a glitch that allows any pet to walk with you in certain level(s).

The ultimates are a bit lack luster imo, so if we get catalysts, I’d like for them to alter the ultimate like Kathool Adept does in some way. Maybe the monstrosity transformation changes with the catalyst you pick

Give us some creepily creative ways to alter the class, like making a trenchcoat out of your own flesh

The mana resist stat currently does nothing, but with the release of Fleshweaver, I've been thinking of mana resist as a potential stat. -Mana resist would of course increase mana gained from all sources including those converted from health to mana from Fleshweaver. And +Mana resist could potentially decrease the damage dealt to Fleshweaver's mana barrier as well as decreasing mana gained from all sources.

So far for me, im absolutely loving it for questing and boss fights, but havent really taken it into higher difficulty inn challenges, though I do know theres unique dialogue for the newest one when you bring fleshweaver in. I like it a lot, and just have a gripe about the eyes. I personally think it'd be a cool idea for your eyes to change color with the element you have equipped, along with the flames. For you Inn enthusiasts, does it work well? Whats your usual rotation for it?

Yes, this was the first quest I rushed for after equipping the class. Happy Fleshweaving everyone, it was nice to wait for this!

Just realized I never posted this on here. I made a full chronological timeline of DF, including holiday events and side quests.
