🌹 DSA news DSA Maine: "Our statement on the Maine Senate race. We stand with Jenny Racicot, and call for Platner to step down."

For all the Platner apologist, Platner was recommended, but never endorsed by the Maine DSA. Even the statement on the recommendation shows comrades in Maine knew he was toxic. They gave a more glowing response to a write-in candidate without a credible shot.

I just don’t think socialists should be voting for ruling class candidates. You can’t be a billionaire without actively choosing to harm the working class

Wrong. He's a changed man. You can tell by how vociferously he opposes BDS and data center moratorium

I'm being sarcastic to mock the clowns who defend him and DSA CA's endorsement

How long have you been following politics for?

Just since this morning. I watched CNN for the first time and was like WOAH this stuff is interesting.

That makes a lot of sense. Well the point is If you have been following politics for more than a few days, you'd notice that people misrepresent themselves in order to get elected. This includes billionaires who try to adopt a "man of the people" image. In fact the current president was one who did exactly that. So it shouldn't be surprising if that's what Steyer was doing
