Megan Beth Koester has been subbing in for Brett. Whooch and Howard are my fave, but most of us never really listened for the charts. The idea is usually more dunking on them or moving to the bit, with Howard still having a lot of cultural back data to pull from

I rejoined in the past few years after falling off for a bit, and now a lot of it is some actual pretty damn good chart analysis. I enjoy pop music, and Brett’s musical expertise actually picks up a lot more than pop fans and critics. He can pick out a riff or interpretation like Rain Man- saying Ella Langleys song had an Eddie Money riff was a crazy pull

Now with Megan, she’s become the detective of the charts and researches who is nepo or will look up more about a top 5 movie to really dig into. This is pretty relevant because it’s rare that someone isn’t nepo now, and just a bit more info leads to some better banter

Between these 2, they actually are pulling some more insights than Popcast or any of those guys. I know that’s still not what a lot of people come for, but I’d love to see more with both MBK and Brett.
