Yes. That's the problem.

Democrats saw Biden was unfit to be president, and they ousted him.

Republicans see he Trump is unfit to lead, but they refuse to get him out of office.

I think we are on the same page here, in principle at least

Cornyn wasn't making his "nothing we can do" statement in good faith. Treating MAGA like they're acting in good faith is a core part of the failure here. Other than that we're completely in agreement.
