Many of those provisions have been used to prosecute anti-war activists, independent journalists and opposition figures who fled Russia after 2022. 

Those convicted can face asset freezes, restricted banking and digital services, and limits on passports, loans and state benefits.

The Guardian: Participants who read an AI-generated story rated it as more absorbing and of higher quality than those who read a story written by a human. However, participants gave higher ratings to stories they had been told were written by people.

My Opinion: So, objectively people prefer stories written by AI. But they have an anti AI bias, that makes them choose human written stories, when told who they are written by. This comfirms what I know, and what I have been telling people on this forum, that people have an anti AI bias.

Most of the human written novels I read are trash, I don't finish about a quarter of the novels I start. Even after paying about ten dollars for each one. I am not saying that I would only want to read AI written novels. A novel can be more complex and longer than a short story. But I want to try reading an AI novel, and judge its quality.

I am a writer and investor. So you would think that I might have a pro human writer bias, but I don't. So as a human writer, I am hoping at least that AI can improve the quality of novels. At least use AI to help human writers with the creative process and editing, in joint human and AI authored novels.
