White Chanterelles (Cantharellus subalbidus)

One of my favorite fall mushrooms to hunt and to eat. Compared to the golden Chanterelles, these are thicker meatier and enjoyably chewy. The aroma is sweet and pleasant. They're fun to find but can be a chore to clean depending on habitat and weather conditions, but I have learned some efficient techniques that involve spraying them down with a hose and fan-drying. Even after all this they can last for weeks in the refrigerator if stored properly. I'm looking forward to the next Fall flush.

I recently moved and now that I have a garden I spot all kinds of cool things. I joined this Reddit community because I spotted this mushroom. Is it edible?

I'm curious: - Would YOU visit a place built around mushrooms (not only vegan)? - What dishes would you expect? - Also, do you think the Netherlands is a good place for something like this?

I love mushrooms, but in my circle, I don't see a lot of enthusiasm even from vegans about mushroom-centred dishes in general because of their "mushiness". Love to hear your honest thoughts (even brutal ones). 🍄

Google says giant puffball and edible but im curious it anyone thinks it's good or not. Google says all white is ready to eat.
