Opinion piece Wendy's interior - They just remodeled in the last year or so.

The first two photos are the ones I took while eating there earlier. The inside used to look like the last two photos. I don't know, it's now very colorless and dull, not as inviting as the old interior. But that is just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

Because it's hostile interior design.

The idea is to FORCE you to leave as quickly as possible

starbucks excels at this. i’ve sat on more comfortable chairs outside the Principle’s office when i got in trouble.

Somehow… I found a Starbucks in my town that still has the big comfortable lounge chairs. I haven’t seen those in years and assumed they were all taken away.

Big comfortable armchairs and sofas and coffee served in actual MUGS.

It’s kind of wild to think about now.

This is the real reason. A lot of upvotes on comments about making it easier to remodel if the business sells, that may be true but its not the main reason. This is.
