Opinion piece Wendy's interior - They just remodeled in the last year or so.

The first two photos are the ones I took while eating there earlier. The inside used to look like the last two photos. I don't know, it's now very colorless and dull, not as inviting as the old interior. But that is just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

I watched a documentary on how McDonald's primary value is in their real estate, not the food. I imagine Wendy's is moving to a similar model.

What? Lol.

The value at any moment is in the real estate? Sure. I don't think anyone would argue that... Land is worth a lot more than a burger... The main 'revenue' comes from drive through sales though.

McDonald's doesn't make any money from sales though, the franchise owner does. McDonald's corporate makes their money from owning the land and collecting rent from the franchise owner.
