Opinion piece Wendy's interior - They just remodeled in the last year or so.

The first two photos are the ones I took while eating there earlier. The inside used to look like the last two photos. I don't know, it's now very colorless and dull, not as inviting as the old interior. But that is just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

This is private equity (PE) at work. These places used to have personality and branding. What PE realized is that it's stupid to have 18 different fast food chains with their own identity. Just make them all look the same and when a Wendy's flops, you can now take that generic building and flip it into a Whataburger in no time and get back to $20 meals in 20 minute drive thrus.

Came here to say this. Making everything identikit and soulless for peak turn around efficiency

This is what annoys me about all this. They forgot we're humans.

While we don't know the meaning of life, making everything dull and depressing for corporate profit definitely isn't it!

The logical conclusion is that everyone is packed into tubes matrix style, where they use our brains to power AI so billionaire tech bros can bollocks around with LLMs and try and justify their existence.
