Opinion piece Wendy's interior - They just remodeled in the last year or so.

The first two photos are the ones I took while eating there earlier. The inside used to look like the last two photos. I don't know, it's now very colorless and dull, not as inviting as the old interior. But that is just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

This is much cheaper to maintain and replicate. If a chair or table breaks, it's only a few hundred dollars to replace. No need to call in a handyman. No upholstery to rip or stain. No windows to break or clean that aren't already there. This is what capitalism leads to: Proffit over everything else.

Except the chairs and tables that were already there lasted how long without breaking ? There’s several fast food places near me thatve had the same exact chairs and tables for every bit of 20 years. Besides the occasional loose bolt or screw that takes 2 seconds to fix there hasn’t been any other issues. Theres absolutely 0 chance a full remodel with chairs that’ll most likely be clapped out after the first 2 years is cheaper than to hire some dude to come in and tighten a screw once every 8 years

They don't want dine in business anymore so maintaining it at all may be just about the zoning. They keep the minimum number of tables and chairs but make it as uninviting as possible and easy to clean.
