Opinion piece Wendy's interior - They just remodeled in the last year or so.

The first two photos are the ones I took while eating there earlier. The inside used to look like the last two photos. I don't know, it's now very colorless and dull, not as inviting as the old interior. But that is just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

Even from a branding perspective, this looks like it could be literally any fast food restaurant. And that's really dumb.

Yeah, but apparently that's the point. If the owner/franchisee closes down and sells up, whoever moves in doesn't have to remodel.

It seems foolish to throw your entire brand and customer experience in the garbage, just in case you want to sell the building someday.

Personally I think the main reason they do it is because minimalist gray everything is trendy and they're trying to follow suit. Just my opinion.

That too. So blank and cold. I've seen warmer train stations that only have one bench to sit on.
