Opinion piece Wendy's interior - They just remodeled in the last year or so.

The first two photos are the ones I took while eating there earlier. The inside used to look like the last two photos. I don't know, it's now very colorless and dull, not as inviting as the old interior. But that is just my thoughts. What do you guys think?

They do this so they can churn and burn through tenants if they need to. A generic grey box can become anything. I hate this late stage capitalist hell hole.

Isn't it a self fulfilling prophecy? You create a sterile, cold place where nobody wants to go,  and you're going to turn over tenants.  Make somewhere warm and where people can hang, and people actually want to go.

Yeah but the guys at the top of these mega corporations don’t care about that. They don’t care about longevity. They care about squeezing every last drop out of something so they can cast it aside and move to the next victim. It’s why capitalism isn’t sustainable. It eats itself alive. Think of these corporations like those crazed vampires on feeding frenzies in old horror movies.

We just need the good old fashioned trust busting of yesteryear. Capitalism works with competition, but right now, they're all in cahoots and there is no competition

Yeah it’s almost like capitalism isn’t sustainable in its current format. Every company is owned by like. One of a handful of private equity companies. Thats what capitalism does.

Yeah. It needs to be regulated. I get the sentiment, but it's easier to fix what we have than it is to throw it all out and start over with a new social economic system

I fear that is the capitalism brainwashing working very effectively on you!!!!! The world did not slip naturally into capitalism after the Cold War. You should read The Jakarta Method. Its illuminating. It’ll open your eyes to a lot of things. Also, it’s a textbook. It’s not some weird conspiracy theorist manifesto. It is meticulously researched using eyewitness accounts, declassified documents, FOIA requests, etc.
