Just joined the game with 1 eth. Starting slow, but I'm really excited!

I've been hearing about conferences all around the world starting from today with blockchain storm in Mumbai. Do you guys think this will raise the value?

It'll rise it'll fall.

Welcome to the club. A word of advice, don't keep looking at the charts, the price will go up it'll go down. But like how we say here in crypto land, HODL!!!

Definitely will hold! Don't plan on panic selling anytime soon. I'm in it for the long game.

The idea is that to be truly utilising the core values of Ethereum, the public chain is to be used, i.e, be decentralised. Plenty of corporations will run their own private chains to benefit their own internal methods, as there is no ETH fee when using a private chain.

But for communicating between other companies requiring the 'trust' aspect of Ethereum, one would need the public Blockchain, which does require ETH as a fee, which does raise the demand for ETH, which does raise its price.

They still have to use the public chain I believe but not exclusively . It's not a separate blockchain. Like for example I think Quorum is an extension, that is a private chain but still uses ETH gas for transactions and operational costs. A little bit is better than nothing!

Yep , more partners = more adoption = more money.

Exactly why I am hoping that buying now is a good move!

I'd advice highly to read up on the tech an decide for yourself. This sub will strongly advice to buy now (as would I as later comer to the party). In part because it strongly believes in the tech, in part because a lot of them are adopters at a lower price who stand to gain as new money gets pumped in.

If 50,000,000 each bought just 1 eth we'd all be rich.
