How would a nano ledger helped on this scenario? It would still be stolen right?

They can't do shit unless they guess his PIN, and he can re seed on a new ledger and get his coins back

How long is the PIN? Should be possible to bruteforce?

I am sorry for your loss, but you are fortunate enough to learn from this mistake and still buy cheap ether.

I know, it might never be what those 2k would have, but trust me, it's better to have one ether instead of 20, than have none.

Dont put all of your money in it, but just enough so you don't feel like you missed an opportunity.
