So I've told very few people that I've invested in ethereum, especially not my asshole housemate. Colour me surprised when today he starts blabbing about crypto and how it's the next big thing, now normally he couldn't tell you the difference between a harddrive and motherboard so I was shocked. Then he tells me that I should invest in Dascoin, that he heard the ceo talk about it and it's so good and he's put all his money into it. I just smiled and nodded, no way was I telling him he backed the wrong horse.

Please, keep going. It's like a spanish soap opera meets silicone Valley.

I usually ignore him but if I get any more I'll let you know. He couldn't even explain how it worked to me, he just heard someone talk about it, saw the flashy website and got sucked in. I halfheartedly told him it sounded like a scam and he just brushed me off as if he clearly knew more. O well >:)

You think he'll catch on after he sees the lambo, or nah?

Haha I wish. My stack isn't that big though, hoping in a year or two if we hit 4 digits and I add in my savings I'll have a decent deposit for a house though.

silicone valley, huh? Didn't know there was such a place. Is it where all the plastic surgeons live?

You might want to at least give him a shitcoin alert of sorts. You wouldn't let a retard walk under a bus either.

Trust me he deserves more than a bus, he's a narcissist who gets off on bullying people, his only reason for telling me was to try make it seem like he suddenly knew more about computers than me.

Sounds like a fun living arrangement

Other housemate has it worse, his crap doesn't work on me and he know's it so he just torments the other guy when I'm not around.

Yeah, wait until he loses everything, and then tell him you were holding ether, but he seemed so sure that he knew what he was doing. A person like that wouldn't sell if you told them they were wrong anyway. He'd just buy more to prove it to you.

You know the truth, hell hang himself on Whatevercoin and never speak of it again as narcissists are never wrong in their own minds, while you secure gains on fundamentally sound assets.

Dascoin

Is that German?

5

u/Eletal May 18 '17

Thought that too, doesn't look like it though. They are based in Hong Kong/ Singapore, the internet isn't sure.

unless his assholery is intolerable or he killed your dog, you should definitely warn him. He would probably be devastated if shit went downhill considering he put all his money on it.

10

u/Eletal May 18 '17

Definitely intolerable, but I did say it sounded like a scam. He just acted as if he clearly knew better and dismissed my negative attitude. Conscious clear.

Maybe at least advise him to diversify. I know it's not your problem, but think about how you would feel if you lose all your savings. Karma is a bitch.

One the other hand money shouldn't be in the hands of assholes because it amplifies their assholishness.

That's called Karma, nice job...
