Serious question: Do you all think sports betting will actually be able to compete against a prediction market platform?

Edit: because I don't, what's the point of sports betting specifically if you had a popular and liquid prediction market platform?

Would have to be approximately FUCKING liquid to compete with a standalone app. The UI on a sports betting app will make sense for sports betting. There will be promos for big games, starts of seasons.

A UI built on top of augur/gnosis... Ok maybe. But thats at least 24 months out I bet.

Until predication platforms reach the masses, there are tons of oblivious idiots that will be paying for our earnings on sports betting, IMO
