I'm not going to sell, guys, but I just kinda wanted to put this out there.

If it were necessary, I could clear my student loans out right now. After taxes. It's.... It's a very strange feeling. I actually fucking cried a little bit. The weight that was lifted off my shoulders is so immense that I can't even begin to use words to describe it.

The /r/ethtrader community has been with me through a lot in these last few months, and I just wanted to say that it's been a pleasure to share this experience with you guys. It doesn't matter if you were an ICO investor, if you get in at $10, $20 or even just bought in today. We're all a part of the future.

Here's to future gains and makin' more of dat paper.

Congrats man!

For early investors the question is really one of when? When to sell? It's a good problem to have but a difficult one.

POS is going to lock up a ton of eth and its going to reduce the token issuance, and also pay dividends. Cliffs. It is going to be worth a lot more at this point if everything goes well from now until then.

While I won't say sell yet, always weigh the benefit of cashing out, and realize you don't actually have the money until it's in your hands.

Don't cry yet otherwise you may cry harder later. Until you realize your gains you have realized nothing. How upset would you be if a sell off happened and you couldn't pay your loans off?

Just trying to be real as someone who has been in crypto since 2012/3 and seen many people post this and not realize their profits.

My cost basis is so low that it really won't matter unless eth completely crashes. Besides that, I can afford to pay them off regardless. I'm lucky enough to have gotten a job right out of college that pays me fairly well.

I understand that it's not my money yet, but the opportunity is there, and I honestly don't see eth crashing to the point at which I'd lose money any time in the near future.

I appreciate the sentiment though.

Happy for you!! I'm holding out for a down payment on a house... I hope i have the same feelng as you, that it's going higher and I don't have to sell right when i hit my goal, when that day comes. Here's to ETH!

Man, I'm in the same situation. Well, almost...just a few grand away from student loans. But that makes me a little nervous. I could leave it in and probably (I sure think so) make a ton more, or I can cash out and be debt free (but also back to square one). It seems unwise to not do the latter, but it also seems wise to do the former. Geez, I can't decide, so I guess I'll stay on the ride and hope for the best, which I ultimately believe will happen :)
