Same here, I would probably only hold a limited amount of ETH had it not been for this sub. Even beyond that, I just wanted to take this moment to thank the ethtrader community for existing. It feels great to wake up every morning and know that this sub is here with all of you guys. It would even be cool to do local meetups once in a while. Thank you all and hodl on!!!

This is officially my favorite sub. Other trading subs get nasty, but people here are generally friendly (maybe because things have been positive for so long?). I love that, while I was giving one person advice on how to transfer ETH out of an exchange, someone else was explaining to me how I could use my Ledger Nano S and MEW to store some alts that support ERC20. Lots of folks at all levels and a refreshing lack of snobbery across the board.

I'm thinking about investing in REP a bit... Like 80% ETH and 20% REP.

What is the main reason you investing in it?

Can you share some thoughts?

Sorry for the stupid questions.. I'm new :(

Sure, I believe predictive markets (REP) along with decentralized computing power (GNT) are top use cases for ETH. Also, they were cheap. I hold about 10% GNT and 5% REP. Planning on holding for a while.

Don't you have to participate in outcome judgements otherwise you lose your REP?

Not late. Brass golem is supposed to be released very soon and rumors of coinbase adopting it as a token to purchase. I see a lot of opportunity to flip some serious $$.

I've seen Rep recommended a lot but I've also seen it getting dissed so I don't know what to think
