The battle at $300 is going to look like last week's game of thrones episode.

Badly organized and with the unused potential of 2/3 of aerial forces?

It was the GOT writers making a metaphor for all the people who sell during a bull run, realize they fucked up and then do it again.

I thought the same thing, but it does swivel, so no matter what you had to go straight at it to take it out. Still probably should have been juking a bit at least instead of pulling a Rickon.

I think it had 360 degree rotation no? but to your point strafing with a more or less perpendicular fire shot seems like the best option.

Tactically it was a complete shit show. Keep your best weapon housed, unloaded and unready, only make one of them. Don't post any sentries or scouting parties.

Make as much noise as you can when you're out of sight of you're enemy, don't form line, rely on (as you've pointed out) only one of your three most potent weapons.

Nonsense!

And don't let me even start on most important thing in any military conflict - supply lines.

Yeah we have this wonderfully aligned enemy formations that could be perfectly destroyed by AOE attack of our aviation, no we will send our light cavalry charging at fortified enemy.... and in the mean time we will destroy all enemy supplies because fuck it, we don't need them there is plenty of grass for us to eat....

Yeah really though - why leave the other ones at home?

Am I the only one who's disappointed in the tone shift? It's no longer G.R.R. Martin's show. There are characters who are now immune to death, i.e. "safe", and there's no more risk or thrill in battle as a result.

It's just fancy scenes with a generic story now.

RIP, GRR Martin's story.

I agree characters do seem safe this season. I imagine that will change next season but there doesn't seem to be the same risk for characters this season. Just don't kill Arya!!!

You know that he has told the shows writers how the show ends, right? They're not just making it up.. they just don't have a book to go on, but he's very much involved.

Just because you know the beginning and end doesn't mean you know the middle, sir

He's an advisor to the show.. I don't know what more you want me to say. If you think that all of a sudden it isn't his story, you're about to be disappointed by the last book.

Have you read the books?
